If you have iPhone 15 Pro and newer, iOS 26 is for you.
If you have iPhone 15 and older, best to stay on iOS 18.x or whatever version you are using.
Im wondering how iPadOS 26 will perform on the M1 Air. My 13 mini is probably staying on 18.5 until at least after new year, since the first couple of public versions will be buggy anyway.

Are there any changes to the Home app? The presentation gave no love to HomeKit or HomePod.
I'd like to know this as well. Is the Home app completely untouched again and we have to put up with another year of buggy home automation and cameras? Have they still not fixed the HomeKit Secure Video playback UI?

Home app appears identical to older iOS versions, just has the new nav bar at bottom

Has anyone figured out the glitch with the Lock Screen widgets on the bottom of the screen instead of under the clock? It won’t move back up where they are supposed to be
  • If you create a wallpaper using the first-row circles at the top of the Wallpaper Gallery, you might not be able to place widgets directly below the time. (151709613)
Workaround: Select a suggestion from another row.

I still can’t get it to work tho.

it seemed to work for me at first, but as soon as I go to the edit lockscreen again, the widgets suddenly are at the botton. Guess if you don't touch it after creating it could work.
I'll wait for the coming betas

New mixing options replace the standard crossfade option in Apple Music. When mixing a new animation appears below the scrubbing bar.

For iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max users, any improvements to photos using iOS 26 compared to iOS 18.x when using the stock Apple Camera app? I'm using ProShot for RAW image capture on my iPhone 11 Pro Max running iOS 17.7

I cannot seem to get wired CarPlay working on an aftermarket Sony XAV-AX1000 head unit. I can get wireless CarPlay working with a dongle, but wired the phone only charges. Anyone else with similar issues?
I'm experiencing the same issue on my Peugeot 208 (2021) built-in CarPlay module. Wired connection doesn't work and I have a CarPlay adapter that also doesn't work / connect. Sometimes I get a completely black screen, but nothing really seems to help.

How is the performance for all of you , I installed it on another partition on my MacBook Air M3 and on my iPad Mini. It is really buggy but probably will be fixed soon

I remember iOS 7 beta and no, it was not as bad as this one is. Indeed, it was riddled with issues, but this version is taking a whole new approach to marking things as illegible as possible.
I was referring to overall accessibility settings in general, not text legibility. iOS 26 is definitely worse in that regard.

Probably the roughest iOS beta I’ve taken part in, 15 pro stuttering like a budget android handset, same for my Ultra Watch 2. Was very hot last night but seems to have calmed down for today.

CarPlay animations were borderline Powerpoint

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but you can now view landscape only apps on iPad in portrait mode as a window.

Installed on my spare 14Pro, it runs smooth and the phone is cool to the touch. I'm not sure what I think about the liquid glass design.
OTA is broken after this update, if this is still broken when beta 2 is out, we might need to update with the IPSW file.

I´ve updated my ipad mini 7 to iPadOS26. What happens, if I update my Airpods pro 2 with the iPad to the new beta firmware and then use the Airpods with my iPhone on iOS 18.5?

Anybody tried this already?
