I know it’s only been a few hours, but it appears as though I have avoided the Beta 2 curse this year!

I was expecting major issues, and so far, everything seems to be working “fine” for me at least. USA 16PM
Watch app working for you ok?

Noticed I have double of the weather app installed. I deleted one and both got deleted. Reinstalled it and it downloaded twice. Weird
For some reason you just have two app links in your folder.. try and just tap and hold on and one and then use “remove from Home Screen” and I’m sure it’ll be gone. It’s not actually installed twice.

Yikes. Installed on my AW9 and in 45 minutes of driving it ate all 80+% of battery my watch had and once I took it off to charge it was so hot that it died while plugged in. Hopefully it chills out tomorrow 🤞

Any new firmware modem updates for the iPhone 16 or 16E. ? seems like no one is posting modem firmware updates with each new beta keep in mind the 16E may have a different modem firmware then the normal 16 iPhones do

The watch app doesn’t work on beta 2 on my 16 pro. But I was able to update my Apple Watch S10 to the latest beta there directly from the watch, thank god. What a silly bug. I submitted an feedback report.

Apple Watch app crashes for me too, on iPhone 16 pro. And phone just started up very very hot, more than I ever noticed on beta 1. Ugh. No way to currently update watch from phone at the moment. Hopefully watch can at least update itself from the settings on the watch itself. Seeing if others have this issue, if any solutions. Maybe a 16 pro/pro max issue only?
16 Pro - Same here. Watch app crashes when I try to open it.

Update: The watch app crashes upon opening it when I am wearing my Hermes S10 watch. When I am wearing my Alum S10 watch, the app opens correctly. I am not running the WatchOS beta on either watch. I am just running IOS26 Beta 2 on my phone.

Bridge crash file mentions the ToyStory watch face. Dunno if they missed the memo that that was removed in b1 so it trying to load it in b2 might be the crashes (both on 16PM when opening the Watch app and S10H when moving between faces and for sure when trying to add a new face in b2)

Some corner radius weirdness happening at the bottom… IMG_0182.png

Anyone running on a 2nd gen iPad Pro? I’m so tempted to install.
The 10.5-inch iPad Pro does not support iPadOS 26, its final version is iPadOS 17.

Unless you mean the 4th-gen iPad Pro (so the “11-inch 2nd-gen”?

Man, Apple botched the naming convention SO much when they introduced the full screen iPad Pro (3rd-gen, 2018).

Apple Watch App crashes for me when I open it? Am I alone?
I have the same issue. It was working fine in iOS 26 Beta 1, but after upgrading to Beta 2, the Watch app crashes and I can't access it at all. At the same time, after I upgraded my Apple Watch to watchOS 26 Beta 2, the Clock app for watch faces also keeps crashing and restarting. I only paired one Apple Watch Hermes Series 10.

I'm gonna hold off on watchOS Beta 2, as it took FOREVER to download Beta 1 to it. I started it last night, but it 'paused' apparently as when I woke up and checked the status from the phone, it said 'update paused' (it was at the 1% mark in the graph exactly where it was when I went to bed) saying 'to finish, ensure watch is on its charger and within range of your iPhone connected to WiFi' (my watch was left on the charger overnight to finish the update, and the phone never lost connection to Wifi, what'cha talkin' bout Apple?!)
