so I’ve found right when I restart the device and try to change the lock screen it will let me after first unlock. But once I lock the screen again it stops working. Should I do a fresh ipsw install and restore from iCloud?

Has anyone noticed their phone not getting quite as hot in beta 2? That and battery draining are my biggest issues with beta 1.

I feel this was fixed in the refreshed beta 1. Battery life was still down over 18.5, but no heat issues. So far b2 seems quite cool to touch.

First thing I noticed. The beta 1 version is so much better - I've wanted them to add padding like that for years. Now its back to the old one... 😫

I totally agree . The extra padding made the Settings page look so much cleaner and less cramped. Bummer.

Change log says you may experience issues, so I think is on its way. If I’m not wrong the first change log said it was not available when using airplay

I don’t like how the Safari on iPadOS looks like. It’s as if the content is being cut, rather than it having a bit more padding for the top bar and perhaps softer transparent gradient.

Hopefully they fixed my CarPlay bug of maps crashing. Doesn’t look like they fixed CarPlay fully though since it only shows one of the Ford’s id connected to in the CarPlay on iPhone. When I tried to show my friend the new look in his ford it wouldn’t find it connect to his CarPlay and only shows one Ford in there.

Other than the safari open in background bug still being there, not having any complaints yet. Runs cooler than b1 at least. On 16P

It just crashed on me again. Still not fixed it seems

Confirmed. Interestingly enough when I just tried it, it happened to crash on a MacRumors page where a video ad was playing, and the ad kept playing. Not sure if this narrows down the source of the bug for anyone trying to fix it but it does indicate that Safari itself is not actually frozen, just anything relating to touching anything on the screen.

Just updated via IPSW over B1 - installed much faster than B1 did. iPhone 16 Pro

edit to add: Mac mini M4 Pro if that matters to anyone.
