May have already been mentioned but the small green square that you slide to answer a call has got smaller.

Just saying.

You can use AssistiveTouch to access Siri. I've used AssistiveTouch since iOS 5.0 and I've never used any of my buttons for anything aside from turning the screen on since.

The option to play iTunes Match songs over 3G was bundled in with the Store option to 'Use Cellular Data'. I know because when I tried to play something that wasn't on my phone, a popup would say that it cannot play songs without wifi unless I enabled cellular data and had two buttons to press, Close and Settings, to get you right into the option to enable it. I always overlooked it until one day I read it carefully.

It wasn't under iTunes match in 5.0 as I saw it in 5.1 beta when I tried it out, and when I went back to 5.0 it wasn't there when I went to use it again.

Here's something I accidentally noticed today...

If you have an external keyboard (mine is Logitech's Zagg), you can highlight area within typed copy using the shift and arrow keys !!!

How's the performance for you 4S owners? Im still jailbroken on 5.0.1 and sometimes the phone lags. For an example the phone would lag for 2-3 seconds when opening up Settings and Safari would lag when inputting a new URL.

I have a 32gb AT&T version.

Any feedback would be appreciated as I'm currently debating if I should upgrade or not, thanks!

When you set a location-based reminder in the Reminders app, the location arrow in the status bar now shows only an outline of the icon indicating that the geofence is in place.

Previously it was the fully white/purple filled system-wide location icon.

Previously it was the fully white/purple filled system-wide location icon.

The explanation for this was also added under Settings>Location Services. The purple outline arrow indicates an app (such as Reminders) is using a geofence.

If you are using the split keyboard on an iPad and touch the blank area just to the right or left of the split, it will type whatever key should be there. It is a nice feature, but would be nice if it showed the buttons, kind of like if there was a double set of one column of keys on the left/right sides.

I believe this is new to 5.1.

This has been there since 5.0. This feature was profiled on tech blogs.

My Newsstand is still in a folder, however it was there pre 5.1 update and in a folder of apps I don't use with apps such as stocks, contacts, compass, etc

I started fresh on my iPad. I was Jailbroken and wanted to go back to stock.

Now, you have to tap the "Store" button twice in Music and Videos apps to open the actual iTunes Store up. Really hated when I accidentally tapped the Store button, and it opened up the iTunes Store. Glad they've changed this!

Designing a button not to work the first time you tap it is weird UI design. It's not that it needs a double tap - it just ignores the first tap. If you keep going back to the app from the store and tapping it it recognises every tap until you switch views and then it ignores the first one again.

I don't know if this was in 5.0 or not, but when you get a notification on a locked screen, as well as the normal Slide To Unlock slider, you can also grab the icon of the app that is notifying you, and slide that icon across the notification and that unlocks the screen as well. Kinda wild.

It unlocks the screen and takes you to the specific app. That's been there since 5.0.

Mine was too... until today. I did a sync and all of a sudden Newsstand is out on its own again and can't be put back into a folder. Has this happened to anyone else?
