I have iCloud set up on my iPad and iPhone 4 and my games nor data is synced between the two how do you get that set up

for games to work, the actuall game itself needs to be updated with that feature. For the your bookmarks, notes etc, you must not have something set up right. make sure you are using the same iCloud account on all your devices.

not sure if this was mentioned but you could play YouTube (say music from YouTube) and do other stuff...

just find the song you wanna play on YouTube, go to the home screen, double click on the home button, swipe to the right and press play.

Thats been there since iOS 4.0, and this also works with Video Podcast (or Movies, I do this with Live Concerts when I go jogging) from your music.app

Hi, Just found something cool in Reminders that I didnt realise,
I set a reminder to simply 'Call Dad'.
When the reminder alert came up this morning, it actually had a button on it for 'Call', which allowed me to call Dad straight from the alert.
Cool shortcut.

Probably mentioned here already but I couldn't see it :)
When you activate Siri, a small 'i' button appears to the right of the microphone. Tap this to see an overview of Siri's abilities.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A334 Safari/7534.48.3)

Didn't see this anywhere on here. Found a new way to delete an app other than long pressing and hitting the X on the springboard. Go into settings>general>usage>look under storage and them click on the app, it will give the option to delete it. If u have a ton of apps, in a Ton of folders, them this is actually an easier way to delete. Thought I would mention this. Interesting and Im almost sure this isn't in any other version of iOS.

"Define"

Small but cool little addition.

When using safari, highlight a word (same way you would to copy it), you now have the option of clicking "define" as well. Which instantly brings up a dictionary definition of the word (just like iBooks would) with pronouciation and all.

I just noticed that when you have multiple keyboards enabled in iOS 5, hitting the toggle button once will automatically switch to the last one you actually used. There is an unfortunate limitation in that it forgets when you switch apps, but still this makes juggling three or more keyboards a little bit easier.

You can also hold down the toggle to get a popup list of all your keyboards

When you mave missed calls or unread texts on the lock screen, you can swipe the phone icon to automatically call the person back or the SMS icon to go straight to that text message.

This is pretty well documented. It is built into the OS - not Safari. You can select text anywhere and get the definition.

iOS - iCal

May have already been covered... But

In iOs / iCal, if you turn your phone sideways, you will see your iCal in week view! (my fav view by far...)

You can even select and drag your events!

Sync from iCloud to iphone4 ( with ios5)

I've synced my contact from my mac to iCloud. I can see them on iCloud but they're not being pushed to my iPhone even though I have my phone set up to sync. All updates on my iPhone are pushed to iCloud but not from iCloud to my phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated::roll eyes:

Asking Siri "restart" resprings the springboard!

That is almost worth the upgrade. At this point I probably wouldn't need a to be jailbroke because notification is fine for me right now and I am getting use to stock waiting on the untethered jailbreak. My only problem is I am tmobile and would have to pay full price for a 4s.

While at a hotel recently, I noticed under Wi-Fi that you can now add the WEP/WPA key and log in information (like room # or user id) so it will auto-connect once you are back in range.

While not the coolest feature for all, frequent travelers will really enjoy it.

Try turning off iCloud for contacts in your phone settings and then turn it back on again. I had to do that with both contacts and calendar to get them to sync.
