Location center says I live 500 miles north

Yes, I know the weather on the notification screen is buggy. For weather, mine shows that I live 500 miles north. And since it is on the top of the list of locations with that tiny little arrow, it is the only one I can not delete. Does anybody know how to fix this before I start up my 12 year old Treo?

I'm not certain which version you are talking about, this thread is likely the wrong thread. Either way, more information (version, device, location) would be fantastic.

have you tried opening the weather app to see if it can grab your correct location?

Location Center says I live 500 miles north

Thanks for the responses, Sorry if I am in the wrong thread. The weather app will add my real location, but will not put it in first place where the little location arrow is. I live in Alpine, California which is near San Diego, and the location Center puts me in Glen Oaks, which is near Big Sur, about 500 miles north of me. I can delete any location in the weather app except the first one. I have an iPhone 5 with the latest iOS 7 version. I have deleted everything, restored the phone from scratch, and restated it a dozen times after trying various things. The weather app says I live in Glen Oaks. A 1000 mile round trip commute would be a problem. BTW, all other apps that use location correctly put me in Alpine, CA. Is this a big deal? Of course not. Do I let these little details drive me crazy. Yes, I have a sickness. I should be using a rotary dial landline.

Settings, Privacy, Location Services, toggle Weather off and on. If that doesn't fix it, worst thing is just turn it off.

Try toggling the main location services setting?

Sometimes, yahoo weather picks up on "neighborhoods" near you. You're sure there's no chance the glen oaks it's showing isn't the glen oaks you're thinking of, but some kinda area near you?

If you leave where you live, does it correctly update? Or does it always display glen oaks, even if you drive miles away to another town?

Location for weather

:):):)Tyler23:YES ! Toggling the location services erased a place (Big Sur) that I had been to weeks ago. It now shows weather where I really am (home). GOOD JOB. Thanks so much for your help.

New feature in 7.1b2 - Previously, if you're texting with someone, and you're in the conversation in Messages, each text received would have the default "bzzzz bzzzz," which was quite annoying, especially in super quiet places. Now, IF you're in the conversation, each received text/iMessage gets a single super short "bz," which is much more discreet. Its enough to tell you that you've got a new message, but not enough to draw attention from others.

Music App Change

I don't know if this has been mentioned in the thread, but its not in the summary on page 1.
In the music app, after you select an artist, 7.0 would order the albums by year, oldest to newest. 7.1 places the newer albums at the top, which is better because you're more likely to seek a newer album.

Could catch...didn't notice it.
