He DIDN'T contribute anything. His tip has been repeated multiple times now in this thread alone. There's nothing to be grateful about. If I posted 30 photos of the trees outside, I'd be "contributing" too. Doesn't make it the least bit useful for those who are here for information about iOS 7.
What is exhausting is reading the same "little things" over and over and over.
Have some respect for your audience. That's all I'm asking. I know how to bring up the Spotlight Search. I didn't need to read about it 10 times. And I certainly don't need to read about it another 50 times. I'm seeing the same question answered multiple times per page. People can't even read the page they're on?
I realize that everyone wants "credit" for being the one to find something new. But there are forum tools available. You don't have to read all 25+ pages. But at least search the thread first. It only takes seconds!
Of course it would also help if things were listed in the first post as they're discovered.
Why don't you step down off your high horse there, buddy. You're talking about giving respect while spewing off vile like that? Get real. I was making no attempt at getting 'credit', I could care less who discovers what first. I did read several pages, I did read the first page that was supposedly being updated, then when I found something I hadn't read yet, I posted on it. Remove the large branch from your posterior and try to be productive instead of tearing people down.
