I say replace the ugly new camera icon with one that more resembles the old one, but flattened and simplified:

I like this a lot. It fits with most other apps. The current camera icon is just hideous. I think they made it that way for uniformity. The Camera on the lock screen is the same shape, and the camera shortcut in Command Center is the same also.

I'm sure this has been answered somewhere. But can someone tell me what happens on the other end when a blocked contact calls and texts you?

Mail Local Forwarding

In iOS7, can you forward emails with attachments without downloading the attachment again?

Go straight to voicemail like how your phone is off.

I *really* wish the caller was sent to the "I'm sorry, your call can not be completed at this time" carrier message.

BLOCKing someone implies they are blocked, not being sent to voicemail so they can leave 200 messages.

Maybe this option requires carrier buy-in and configuration that we'll see by official launch day. I'm not convinced, though, since JB blacklist apps have this feature and it works like I described.

Is it possible that the person who made this thread update the first post with screenshots and a list of things being discovered? That would be awesome..

Steve Jobs glasses on reading list!

I'm sure this has been mentioned in this thread, but i did not go through all of the pages. When you go to share something, the "add to reading list" icon has glasses that look similar to what Steve Jobs wore. Thought that was neat.

Remember this?

th

Mac OS7. The first Mac OS with multifinder. Or a true multitasking option. Yes was optional at the time. And today we have iOS7 with the first true mobile OS multitasking.

Mac OS7 and iOS7 . . . . coincidence?

Apologies if this question has already been asked.

Is the reader option gone from Safari on iOS 7? I haven't seen the option in any screenshots.

No. If a website supports reader or vice versa a new icon on the left of tool bar appears to switch between the reader and regular view.

Anyone able to check Spotlight functionality?

I'm curious as to whether they've fixed SMS search functionality - in iOS 6 and before, if you search for a term and it's in an SMS, it'll show in Spotlight, but if you click on it, it'll take you only to the conversation, not to the actual SMS.

Wondering if that's been fixed so that a click takes you to the specific SMS?

Thanks in advance for anyone who has the time to check :)

it takes you to the actual sms in the conversation! confirmed!

Could someone please post some detail about the new parental controls in safari and whether blocking explicit web pages works in other 3rd party apps? Screen shots would be great!

I need a little help... I am not a developer.. But I am desperate to try the beta... Is there a way I can...? Will all my apps still work...? Also is there a way then to downgrade back to 6.1.2...?

Just wait 'til they release the golden master. The beta has some bugs and apps may not work.

Thanks... But, as long as the basic apps (xe currency, google maps, twitter, whatsapp, etc.) work I am ok...

Parallax on iPhone 4

I am testing iOS 7 on my old iPhone 4.

It doesn't have all the fancy graphics that the 4S and 5 would have but it seems to work just fine.

After the initial sync has finished it's as responsive as it was under iOS 6 for the most part (not fantastic but certainly not anywhere like iOS 4 was on the iPhone 3G - that was ghastly) which gives me hope for when I put it on my daily driver in a few months.

I love the floaty icons as you tilt the phone back and forth (you have to apply a panoramic photo for it to happen) but after a while I might feel a bit seasick...

Could you please clarify if you got the parallax feature to work on the iPhone 4?
And if yes, could you explain how?
Thanks!
