Thanks... But, as long as the basic apps (xe currency, google maps, twitter, whatsapp, etc.) work I am ok...

I don't know if they work. Even if they did, they might crash on beta 2, 3 or 4. I remember that iOS 4 beta 1 was quite stable but the later betas became more buggy as Apple addes new features and tweaks under the hood.

When sending an MMS message, there's a progress bar at the top. I didn't even notice it until now.

Hmmm... I found evad3rs.net... They have the mirrors and stuff... Is it a trustworthy site...?

Not sure if this has been reported but if you click on the song info in the control center it will take you to the music app or whatever app you are playing music through. Quite neat.

Also just realised how much I love the new animation for switching between apps. Slides from the left.

I dont if it have been mentioned but weird i dont see any talk about facetime "audio" , finally whe can just make a call instead of video :) thats a major plus !

same wlan specs for ipad3 and ipad4

is it right, iPad 3 generation doesnt work with AirDrop? is there any technical reason? i mean, iPad 4 generation only has Lightning...

I clearly remember at keynote presentation, they said airdrop is for products with latest wifi modules. However when I looked up specs of ipad3&ipad4 and went to gsmarena for detailed info. It turns out both ipad3 and ipad4 have dual band support, a/b/g/n capability for wifi module.

So not supporting airdrop on ipad3 due to the wifi module is just nonsense. They just want users to upgrade.

iPad 3 users hurt again....

Could you please clarify if you got the parallax feature to work on the iPhone 4?
And if yes, could you explain how?
Thanks!

Not the parallax feature.

When you assign a panoramic photo to your wallpaper it drifts around behind the icons as you tilt the phone back and forth.

I am testing iOS 7 on my old iPhone 4.

It doesn't have all the fancy graphics that the 4S and 5 would have but it seems to work just fine.

After the initial sync has finished it's as responsive as it was under iOS 6 for the most part (not fantastic but certainly not anywhere like iOS 4 was on the iPhone 3G - that was ghastly) which gives me hope for when I put it on my daily driver in a few months.

I love the floaty icons as you tilt the phone back and forth (you have to apply a panoramic photo for it to happen) but after a while I might feel a bit seasick...

How did you apply the panoramic photo? I can't seem to take any with the camera app (this is also on iPhone 4), does it just have to be a certain size?

I've also been pleasantly surprised with the beta (especially at this early stage) on my iPhone 4, although I have noticed a few slowdown/bugs and so on..

How did you get a panoramic photo? I can't seem to take one in the camera app (also iPhone 4)..

You have to go to Settings > Wallpapers and under Photos, there will be an option to Panoramas. If you set any other way, it just moves as a standard background.

Do the photos need to be a certain size to show up as panoramas? Can't see this on my iPhone 4 :(

Panorama mode is only available for 4S and 5. I do however see the option of using panorama backgrounds if there are other panorama images in your photo app (I've got a couple I didn't even knew I had).

Upload some and see if it works.
