My iPhone 5 on iOS 7 went from 75% to 28% in 2 hours today WITHOUT me touching it. Also, I turned off LTE beforehand. I was in class. I took the phone out of my pocket and it was hot as if it was laying in the sun. This was an extreme loss of battery.

I don't know how this could have happened. I turned off location and background processes to see if that will help, but phone still seems to be getting physically hot without me using it. I know this is a beta, but I never had such an extreme loss of battery like this. Has this happened to anyone else running iOS 7?

It did the same thing to me yesterday, from 80 to 20 very quickly but it then went back to 80 within 5 mins. I think it's the battery indicator that's buggy.

In Maps, satellite view, zooming out doesn't provide you with a map-like view of the world, but you can really see earth. It even shows night and day.

Nope, just confirmed! In iOS 6 when you close the app in the multitasking menu the music just stops. In iOS 7 it fades out.

What do you mean "fades out"? As many have pointed out, it does also fade out in iOS 6. Does it fade out even more so or in a different manner?

There is something really weird, they said parallax effect is not available on iPhone 4 but in accessibility settings there is a setting to reduce motion which disables the parallax effect anyone know about this ?

I'm not sure if I ask this in the right place, but… this new anti-theft feature. Thief can just do a jailbreak, no? I'm not technical so I wouldn't know the details.

It's FaceTime Audio (no video). It shouldn't use that much data.

The reason why this would be so helpful and seamless is for old relatives overseas. I don't want to teach aunts, uncles, and parents how to "properly" call me to no longer incur long distance charges. Also FaceTime Audio uses HD Voice so quality is crystal clear.

Apple really should make FaceTime Audio as default and as seamless like iMessage over SMS.

No thanks. I have to guard my data like a hawk. I don't need HD quality audio to tell a telemarketer to go to hell.

Is someone trying ios7 with an iphone4?

I have it installed on my 4, its surprisingly good and responsive, some stuttering here and there and some bugs, but its definitely usable. I believe Apple will fix those tiny bugs and lags in the future betas

Don't know if someone already posted this, but now you can also close the 'active' app.
In iOS 6 when you double tapped the home button, the app you were using didn't show in the bar, and couldn't be closed. Now the active app is placed at the left side and can be closed.
I like this! I hated having to click and then double click the home button to close an app...

Music now fades out when you close the apps in the multitasking menu!

Nope, just confirmed! In iOS 6 when you close the app in the multitasking menu the music just stops. In iOS 7 it fades out.

Just tested it on my iPad running 6.1.2. It fades out. Unless that's unique only to the iPad.

It definitely fades out in iOS 6. Unless that's just on the iPad.

It faded out on my iPhone 5 with iOS 6, all versions.

What do you mean "fades out"? As many have pointed out, it does also fade out in iOS 6. Does it fade out even more so or in a different manner?

Confirmed - Rdio fades out when it is killed from the multitasking menu on iOS 6.1.4 on an iPhone 5.
