iOS7 is simply WOW! i can never think of using iOS6 again. O apple! you should have done this long time ago. never mind, my iphone doesn't feel boring and outdated anymore.

Thanks.

I suppose I'm more bothered about the reminders. So I can share a list with others, eg my wife and a shopping list, and if one of us buys something it is checked off on the others list too. Eg a shared list.
Is this feature added to reminders?

You can only share notes, you can't have shared notes with someone. Reminders you can't even share. But it would be a nice feature to have!

Happens in iOS 6 as well. They've really done nothing to improve Siri

While she's nowhere near perfect, I wouldn't say Apple has done nothing. They've integrated Wikipedia and twitter and added the ability to change some system services and some nifty features like playing a voicemail. Although, the ability to toggle Bluetooth and wifi with the new control center makes those features a little useless for Siri.

Has this been there in Siri before? When I'd say "Launch Clock", it asks me which clock app I'd like to launch.

That is new! When I said "Launch browser" safari opened, however when I said "Launch maps" I got a choice.

Yeah I see what you mean, I get the today section but I don't really understand the point in the missed bit. Seems pointless.

The thing is, I thought it worked like this; get a Notification, Disregard it from 'all' by pressing 'X' but not view the source if it. Then it goes to missed. It doesn't work that way. In fact. All the notifications from 'all' seem to got into 'missed' and will stay there until dismissed by either pressing 'X' or viewing it.

Also, after playing with it for quite some time, it seems like iOS 7 beta 1 runs almost like Android JB in that the animations are weirdly rendered and takes time to do so. Looks like Google likes shipping Beta products to their customers. ^_^

Can someone explain the new multitasking to me? It has an app icon AND a preview screen? Are they both the same thing?

Also under missed calls. Im used to using that as my phone book when I need to call someone. Before I would just hit the arrow next to their name to pull up the alternate numbers. Now there is an "i" next to it, but it appears you have to hold it down to get it to work? Anyone know what the point of that is?

Yes, they are the same thing.

No, you don't have to hold it down to get it to work. Just one tap as before.

I think the "missed" tab shows notifications that occurred when your phone is locked.

So just installed the beta. Found a bug already. I cannot accept the certificate from my university's wifi network. Clicking accept simply does not work.:rolleyes:

Ok, say I click on a song, it plays but doesn't 'download' to my phone (because the cloud icon will still be there). How do I free up that space on my phone's harddrive if I'm not able to swipe and delete it?

Yesterday I played songs this way, icons are still there today. They should really allow streaming :\
Settings > General > Usage > Music > Delete App Data

Of course it currently says Delete App but it still only deletes the app data.

I don't know if Music deletes streamed songs after a period or not but it definitely uses storage space when streaming even after the song has been stopped.

I believe Music will delete streamed songs if your phone starts to run out of storage.

Also, I believe a faster way to delete your cache of streamed music is to simple turn iTunes Match off in settings, then back on again.

Ya it's quite interesting.....I just tried on iOS 6. Saying "launch maps" sends me to Apple's app, while specifying "launch Google maps" sends me to Google's.

I guess with iOS 7 Siri, you can be a little more general and it will give you the options up front before launching you into Apple's default.

Not sure if this has been posted. I don't recommend defining words as there is no way that I can find to close it except for killing the app. Tapping on the definition doesn't take you anywhere like the arrow implies, yet at least.

Like I said...the cloud visual seems to be an error. From Apple's website:

Does iTunes Match stream or download songs?
On a computer, any songs stored in iCloud will stream over the air when played, though you can download them at any time by clicking the iCloud download button. iOS devices will start playing tracks from iCloud as they download and will store them so that you can listen to them later even if you don’t have a network connection. Apple TV only streams songs.

Try resetting all setting, or network settings..

What happens if you power cycle your phone? Does the phone clear you "streamed" music at that point?

It does not.

Incidentally, shutting down is the same but the UI is really clever. As you slide to the right or left the top and bottom of the screen black out leaving it looking widescreen. Once you release both black bars expand towards the center to meet (kind of like shutting off an old tube tv).

The screen turns off like a old school TV when you power it off :apple:

Camera: You can no long access to the photos that you just took by swipe right. That was one of my favorite!!
