One of the BEST little features I have found!

When a word is auto-corrected and if you hit backspace it brings up word options so that you can "correct" the auto-corrected word. So, if I wanted to purposely type "werd" and it corrected it to "word" and if I hit backspace, I am presented with option to select "werd". In iOS 6, I would have to retype "werd".

Thank you Apple!

If I am not mistaken, I remember seeing that in iOS 6.

I remember someone was asking if you would still get a message tone/vibrate during a phone call. Yes, in fact it almost made me deaf! I set my ringtone at the high volume (2 blocks before the max) and it was freaking loud. I don't remember if iOS6 was like that too.. at least I don't remember it was that loud. Hope they can fix it in next beta or final release. :apple:

I dont think so, see screen shot. I typed "Tes" it changed to "yes" and when I hit back space I get options to select which word I wanted.

I don't think this one has been mentioned. If you tap once while on the spirit level page of the Compass app, it will zero out the angle, allowing you to measure from there.

They need to inform you what happened automatically.
They already do that for app updates via the notification center.

That said, even if they still want to do it within the App Store, it sounds like they should have a separate section on the update screen for history or something like that (similarly to how they have one for purchases), that way the updates screen would only show updates that are available (and can be installed) instead of being cluttered up with a long list of previously installed updates from a week ago.

Probably mentioned so appologies. But just noticed that when sending a text as usual the Bubble is Blue for iMessaeg and Green for SMS but the progress bar and also the "send" text turns colour also.

Loving iOS 7. Beautiful OS
Pretty sure the Send button turn a different color in iOS 6 as well--except it's actually a well defined button that's clear to see, unlike simply a word in a thin font that's harder to see in iOS 7.

----------

When you get a text from an Android phone in ios 7, is it supposed to be grey bubble? In ios 6, it was always a green bubble.
Pretty sure any/all received messages are grey by default--only your messages are either green (for texts) or blue (for iMessages).

Thanks, looks nicer than the circle IMO.
Really, in a fairly limited and sometimes cramped space like the status bar at the top, a combination of much longer practically random capitalized letters actually looks nicer than a nice, neat, and small circle?

----------

Usage now shows the amount of storage the Messages app uses
That's definitely a welcome addition, and similarly appears for Mail as well. Now, if there was only a way there to clear out the data (or at least the attachments), that would be even better.

So ios 6 beta was pretty stable and fast, now people say that ios 7 is bad cause it's beta but what about other ios versions? ios 5 beta, ios 4 or ios 3, were they slow and laggy in beta stage?

Yes, different betas for different versions (or even the same version) had all kinds of different issues. That's why they they were/are betas.

One other huge thing to consider is that iOS 7 is probably the biggest iOS redesign compared to any previous version, so its betas, especially the first one (or even few) can be even less stable in various respects.

Yes, because hardly any of my friends had no idea what the circle meant. The amount of times my friends asked me cos I'm their techie friend was alot....

In iOS6, texts from Android users showed green for me. In iOS 7, it is operating grey and green for me, as you stated.

And how many people would know what GPRS means? Seems like that particular aspect of it all wouldn't really be affected by this change with this.

I would even go as far as saying that there will likely be quite a few who will somehow see the G, P, and S so close in that and start thinking it relates to GPS somehow and that it's being used on their phone when they aren't aware of it.

That's strange. I was under the impression the whole color differentiation only applied to your own outgoing messages, and not incoming ones, no matter what phone they came from.

If you look at a website like http://www.damnyouautocorrect.com/category/just-submitted/?r=54808657 where there are a lot of screenshots of Message conversations, I don't believe you see any iOS ones where incoming messages are of any color other than the default grey.

If you set a timer the countdown will appear on the lockscreen. Pretty handy. What's annoying is that it's placed over/under the date so they briefly overlap. They just need to change where it's placed.

Yeah the overlap is annoying. Happens with the music app as well. But a good feature that I didn't know about.

I find when I am typing a message it will change "U" to "I"

For example

"What are U doing tonight?"

will sometimes turn to

"What are I doing tonight?"

Annoying, but I know its just a beta bug.

I think they need to work on the reminders app a little.

Seems to be less intuitive to add a reminder. In iOS 6 there was a little + sign, here you have to tap on a blank line...this I have no doubt will fox some folk.

Also if you swipe up and left, it bugs out. If you only have two reminder screens (Reminders and Scheduled) it bugs out. Add a third and the screens sit one on top of the other.

H

With the reminders open just tap in the middle of the screen and a new reminder will pop up for you to set.

Just disable auto correct, it is good if english isn't your native language, or any other language, for example, I use auto correct when I speak english.

It's good in general when you are typing quickly and can make small (and often common) typos that get corrected automatically as you continue typing quickly without the need to stop and correct things and break the momentum.

Here are a few I haven't seen posted:

1. When charging, there is a little flashing lightning bolt next to the battery icon.

The bolt stops flashing and remains solid when the device is completely charged. When the device hits 100% while charging, the bolt may continue to flash meaning 100% isn't always completely full.
