I've noticed that on my mail app, the badge says I have 240 unread messages. I dunno if that's true or not, but it never showed that before on my iPhone or iPad. I can't get rid of either, and I'm wondering if I really do have that amount of unread email from like ages ago...

Another thing, the list of recent calls doesn't scroll and stay to the top. So when I swipe down, the list bounces back up, not allowing me to see the most recent call.

That's all, or at least the most notable, that I've noticed thus far. I'm on an iPhone 4S.

the non transparent dock, control center and such is 100% a bug on the iphone 4. Just saw on apples website iP4 with the transparent dock, so im sure it is a bug, hooraayy!:D

Explain why it's dumb? We have the ability to install and trial the os for our selves and are prepared to encounter bugs. No one is whining or saying that the bugs are unacceptable. Simply identifying them.

I think he's referring to those that are not 'prepared to encounter bugs' and are instead complaining as though they confused 'Beta' with 'Release Candidate'.

Seems like there's no Soundcloud support for Control Center or for the lock screen music player, but that's 110% understandable for the first Beta.

All wallpaper zooms in after clicking on set to home screen or lock screen I really hope they fix this in the final version or upcoming beta update as this issue doesn't exist in ios 6.

I think this is by design. That way, it will have enough room to still have some 3d effect when you move your iphone from side to side, and up and down. I think they called it Parallax. Check if you can get to see the borders. That is one thing to taking into account when selecting a background. And I hope in the future, it will display a guide on the crop screen, so we know what is going to be visible and what hidden.

Well, it is a beta. But I'd bet battery life generally will be worse because of all the white. White takes more power to light up than darker colors, and most of the menus are now completely white. Also the background refreshing feature that was added must put a strain on the battery in some small way as well.

Battery performance improved dramatically once I found the power vampire.

The Apple Podcasts app. Even though I killed the app itself, it left a process running which continued to download all the pending podcast downloads it set up.. Until my iPhone memory was full of podcasts. 17 GB of podcasts.

Now that I've killed that, at last, my battery has returned almost to normal.

I think it drains a bit faster, but that may or may not be because I am poking the phone pretty much all day long. :)

----------

Is there an Apple released list of discovered known bugs? I thought it might be on the dev forum (I'm registered) but the dev forum is just a blank page when I try and pull it up. Many things I've noticed aren't on the list I read before downloading the OS.

TIA. :)

Yeah, it's on the main iOS7 dev page. It's pretty much a readme with known issues.

Hope you guys are reporting these bugs because Apple isnt reading this thread to fix it.

As for my experience, none of my music playlists are syncing and the phone randomly reboots when I am performing a task, usually when moving from one to the other. That took a while to write up. :apple:

Bet you they have someone monitoring fan sites like this one for bug reporting.

My Pictures app doesn't arrange my pictures by date or moments like they showed in the keynote. Will it only work for pictures I take from here on and not on existing pictures?

Another bug I've seen so far is that as soon as I connect to a new wifi connection the phone for some reason opens the podcast app. Happens every time without fail.

2nd gen iPod touch was shown with wallpapers for iOS 4. Don't get your hopes up too high.

this is my first time ever using a dev version of an OS... how does this one compare to others?

some apps dont adjust to the screen when you open them, right away.
I had issues updating apps over lte. They just froze in the waiting phase.

Anyone care to chime in? This beta seems WAY more buggy than most threads I encountered from other releases.. And it seems people are having a wide array of issues! I feel really bad for Apples team, as they are prob getting in so many reports! hopefully they are quick fixes for them.

Also, how do we report?

The biggest bugs thus far that I have encountered are: going to voicemail is very laggy and buggy and sometimes doesn't work. Also, while you're texting someone when you click the 123 button a lot of times you have to exit out of the message and to back in to get it to work. Has anyone else experienced these issues?

Iphone 5 freezes at passcode screen right after upgrading yet the charging icon keeps flashing & it still responds to itunes if i try to restore or reflash so its not fully frozen, during this state it also gets hot, if left alone it keeps rebooting about once every minute. After about 500 hard resets it gets past lockcode screen..

About the worst beta 1 i ever seen for anything ever, untested completely.

is this because of parallax? can you see the edges by tilting your phone? if so, also interested to know if, when you turn parallax off, it continues to crop the picture like that.

I have 127 apps to be exact. Sync'ing from back up is nearly impossible.

Should've set up my iPhone as new rather than restore from back up.

Also sync cancels when certain apps are being synced.

I have 336 applications and not having this problem.

Well, I hope this is true. Thanks for the pic - I hope it's not just a mock-up they threw in there without noticing. I've thought it was a bug for a while but this is the most 'proof' from Apple we'll ever get until more betas are released to see if they can/will fix it.

That's pretty bad, here I'll show you my usage as of today

That's excellent!

Did you do an update or a refresh?

----------

My battery died in three hours today, I was mostly just listening to music through headphones with the display off. Quite awful.

I just disabled a bunch of settings to see if it'll help.

That's my experience too. I'm right now in the middle of redoing my upgrade. I'll try to do an update instead of refresh and see if that makes any difference.

Audio Bug?

Is my device broken or is anyone else having issues with audio playback? I get distortion listening to voicemails on speaker and i only get one ear playing audio when I have headphone in.

I'm running this on the iPhone 5 a1429 iOS7 Beta.

iPhone 5 here, static mixed with the audio when recording video. Phone calls are fine so it seems like it's just the rear mic. Restored and everything works fine in 6.1.4. Anyone else having the same issue?

I did an update but.... Right after I updated I went to settings and wiped all settings ( not all data and settings but settings only)

All of your home screen icons will disappear, leaving just the status bar. Opening multitasking will show the home screen, but tapping on it will just make the icons disappear again.

The entire OS feels laggy as hell. It reminds me of my Android days - there's frequently no framerate lag, but the OS feels less responsive.

i see notifications that are a day old pop up as if they are new. i get a phone reset like 2 or 3 times a day. battery does not last all day. it now last about half a day.
