I did an update but.... Right after I updated I went to settings and wiped all settings ( not all data and settings but settings only)

Let me see if I understand you correctly.

You did the upgrade with the update method, set it up as new phone, then restore from a backup, then went to the phone and wipe the setting.

Is that correct?

No, I was on 6.1.4 then did the shift and update to ios 7. Then I noticed bad battery life and back of iPhone was hot. So I went to settings>general>reset>reset all settings and it's been perfect
Edit: I never set up as new iPhone or restored anything, I kept my apps and data through the whole process

I see. Thanks for the clarification.

Edit: I was using cellar data for the whole day and just came home and turned on wifi

Yup if your having battery problems, it's worth a shot, I've been using the beta since release and love it

I think this is by design. That way, it will have enough room to still have some 3d effect when you move your iphone from side to side, and up and down. I think they called it Parallax. Check if you can get to see the borders. That is one thing to taking into account when selecting a background. And I hope in the future, it will display a guide on the crop screen, so we know what is going to be visible and what hidden.

is this because of parallax? can you see the edges by tilting your phone? if so, also interested to know if, when you turn parallax off, it continues to crop the picture like that.

Those pictures were with parallax turned off I also tried it with parallax on and still had the same problem changing the backgrounds didn't work they all had the same issues hopefully its just a bug since its beta I wouldn't like to see this as a permanent thing in the final release.

Interesting. I'll try this tomorrow after I do a full charge. :)

1) Anyone getting crashes from safari every now and then

2) albums and album art not displaying correctly

3) and brightness dimming on its own and having to reboot to fix it

When you close the Clocks app and watch the Clock icon right after it closes, you'll notice the white circle of the clock gets very slightly smaller.

When I exit to home, the DnD moon quickly disappears for some reason but it shows in apps.

Edit: weird, just 'fixed' it I think, not sure why it was disappearing in the first place

New Do Not Disturb setting to have phone silenced only when phone is locked. Great idea so if you are using it, you can still get alerted.

Has anyone gotten Maps to display in nightmode? Do I have to do anything special or is it automatic? It's after 11 PM here and I'm sitting in a dark room but nada!

My usage times in Settings General Usage seemed to have changed to a dash. They were showing the times before but there might be a bug which caused them to disappear after a certain usage time.

That's because your last charge did not bring it to 100%.

that happens when you do a hard reboot instead of shutting down and powering up again so it can pick up where it left off. hard rebooting erases those times until it becomes fully charged again.

First day of using the beta and pulled my phone out of my pocket, it was rather warm and was stuck on 1 dot of LTE. Wouldn't drop back to 3G and just flattened my battery. I haven't had many issues other than that.

Can anybody please verify whether Data Roaming is behaving correctly?

(When it's deactivated, there should be no Data Connection when roaming, and vice versa)

Thank you very much.

I'm actually quite pleased with my Att iPhone 5 running iOS 7 I'm registered and whatnot but the only real problem I've run into is multiple notifications,eBay and a couple other apps crash or stick. But nothing really too intrusive to the point I can't use it so far. Wow, what a pleasant change to using this phone, in my opinion.
