Yeah this can be a bit scary if your not familiar with proactive, easy to think it's a virus or something creepy taking over your phone without your knowledge, I saw this too on the public beta and at first I was like what the heck is that small icon since I was not expecting it and wasn't until later when I read about all the new features in iOS9.

I don't see how anyone could be scared of a virus in iOS or the icons considering Handoff uses a similar UI.

Things are very dynamic in the beta stages. Some things will be added/removed as the beta progresses.

But should stabilize once reaching release stage maybe in the last 2 betas.

Proactive Siri on the lockscreen doesn't work for me. Am I missing something here in the settings that I need to turn on?

Hi,

Sometimes when my iPhone goes to sleep it doesn't "wake up" when I press any button. The screen remains black and the only workaraound is to hard reset with Power+Home....

If I press and hold the Home button I can hear Siri working, and if I ask something it answers, so the thing is the screen is not booting up.

Have you anyone notice this behaviour with iOS 9 beta??

Thank you

Yup, this even happened on iOS 8.x. Still happens rarely on iOS 9.

This looks like a bug.. View attachment 569258

Another alignment bug. Alignment bugs in iOS 9 are gradually being fixed.

You can temp fix the alignment by swiping down for the old search in the home screen and swipe it back up. Then the new proactive search will be in the right position. (Though it's a very temp fix as it will just shift up into the status bar again probably by the next time you use it again.)

I'm sure next build will fully fix it.

Anyone else have issues with the app store being missing? I even asked Siri to open it on my iPhone 6 and she said it is not installed on my phone. This just developed when I installed iOS 9 beta 3

Activity app isn't showing resting calories after a workout any more.

Also while we're talking about resting calories, Apple still hasn't fixed the bug where daily resting calories aren't being added to the health app.

No, he's right. News will only be available in the US, UK and Australia at launch and is only available in the US in the beta phase so far.

Hopefully that'll change when beta 4 is out.
Well then he's right. Three countries is a poor launch. I'm corrected. Thanks.

Not sure it was mentioned before, but i've found a very useful feature that i was hoping for a long time - face search in iOS photos app. You need to have Photos app installed on Mac and have some faces detected and assigned to contacts. After sync, you can search persons in photos not only on Mac, but on iOS too. This is a nice feature, that slightly compensates powerful search in Google Photos app (which is really, really cool :)
