Update went well. After, I could not see the current temperature on my watch so I unpaired and paired again. Somehow, I no longer see my stand credits for the last two days. They show in health and show in activity but the count is not giving me credit on the watch.

I see a new entry in health called stand hours. There I see 17 hours for today but the activity app on the watch says 1 hour. Bummer. A perfect month not looking so good now. Still worth it.

Any ideas?
I wasn't getting updates to temperature or sunrise/sunset on my modular watch face but rebooting the watch fixed that.

Anyone getting Cellular Problems on MetroPCS and iPhone 6 Plus? It keeps saying Carrier Update available, and then I click update and nothing. Then I try again, also the current software is (20.5.2) and it just says Carrier. Also gained the ability to change from LTE, 3G, and 2G. And I lost Visual Voicemail on this beta...?

My carrier version was 20.5.2 in PB 1 and when I put the DP 4 today it went to 20.5.3. Different carrier than yours though. I'm on Rogers in Canada. I'm not sure if all carriers get the same version numbers? Seems to usually all be the same.

Hi, I have a doubt, is Beta 4 available for all public or only to the Devs? Because I can't see the update on my settings.

Hmm...maybe I shouldn't have installed how I did, I went from beta 3 legit beta 3 build, then when the PB came I installed the profile. Then I didn't see beta 4, so I grabbed the ipsw from the dev center and 'Updated' in iTunes. Got to the current beta 4 build and ran into those bugs I mentioned. Trying a DFU restore now

As always, be sure to report any and all bugs to bugreport.apple.com (a developer account is not required to do this)

Previous threads:
beta 1 beta 2 beta 3

Build: 13A4305g

Issues:
  • Continuity does not work within the App Switcher, but does on the lock screen (Confirmed by Apple).
  • Start Station in Apple Music removed from songs and albums. Can now only be found on Artists that are already in "My Library". (Now a speaker icon instead of text from the (...) menu. May be transitioning this to other sections, but the beta was released before it was implemented on the sections it was removed from?
  • Closing spotlight will cause the full proactive menu to flicker in for a split second
  • Attempting to change any tone except phone call one will crash the Settings app
  • Some apps only support landscape mode will go to portrait mode with shrink view, and app will not work properly, when the phone is in portrait mode, whether rotation lock is on or off.
  • When listening to music, as long as a new mail coming in, music will lower its volume twice or more before notification sound starts playing.
  • When using Apple music and asking to play let's say "best songs of X year" the radio/playlist is started but stays stuck at the first song. (Repeat is not On and skipping doesnt work)
  • Adding a song to a playlist still doesnt work for me.

Changes:

  • Stuttering in the App Switcher is gone
  • News App doesn't crash on opening
  • Alignment issues with the top status bar have been fixed.
  • Battery icon in Settings has restored to normal.
  • The notification icon is now red.
  • Search has redesigned icons, as well as a continue button to dismiss the prompt.
  • Handoff is shown as a bar at the bottom of the multitasking center.
  • New option for News 93.2 in the settings > News section
  • Keychain auto fill option on iPad keyboards is back.
  • Misaligned search suggestion bar has been fixed (eg when using YouTube app)
  • Delayed status bar when going to home screen has been fixed.
  • Volume button takes photos again
  • Text in Weather app is no longer cropped
  • Icons in the share sheet are now not as spread out as before on iPhone 5 and 4S
  • Ability to access iCloud Notes without upgrading, essential for those with non 10.11 Macs
  • The video play button (as seen on embedded movies on websites) is now translucent instead of white
  • Mobile data usage for music downloads and streaming can be toggled separately now, rather than having to use one setting for all iTunes and App Store downloads
  • Apple Music now can be correctly capitalised when typing using integrated keyboard, in this beta.
  • Regained ability to change description and artwork for Playlists in Music.
  • Subject lines in Mail have been aggressively enlarged on iPad. (iPhone?)

Can anyone confirm if EE wifi calling is back ? (Or is that just not working on the public beta)?

Thanks in advance

In 4 betas I never seen proactive suggestion in bottom left lock screen. All options in search are enabled. Why I miss it? I usually open Facebook in the morning, but no suggestion at all.
Another question: now that Apple change handoff in task manager, the same graphic happen to proactive suggestion?

I've only ever seen it on my phone with music and mail on the lock screen. So I'm not sure if it's just Apple stock apps right now? And 3rd party need to be updated for it?

Also I've noticed if you use Touch ID, it moves you off the lock screen too quickly and you miss it (just barely catch a glimpse of the icon as the screen is unlocking.)

As for the new handoff in the app switcher. That didn't change anything on how it looks on the lock screen. The change was just it not being a card in the switcher and it's now a bar at the bottom.

It seems multitasking is super smooth now, although only when you swipe fast. It seems quite unnatural when you use it slowly.

It appears that transparency has been increased and/or blurring decreased in all tab bars. For example, it can be seen in the Photos and News apps.

Noticeable improvement in term of fluidity/snappiness. Updated just for volume button camera trigger.

Anyone can monitor the Message app for this bug? When you delete a message thread, whole message layout justified slightly to left side. Respring app solved the issue but still...

Was volume trigger existing (solved bug) or new functionality?

Apple Music isn't draining battery anymore. It doesn't appear in the battery settings as it did before
Can people confirm this, I've been hoping this would get fixed! Does this mean that the iOS device no longer gets warm when streaming and slows down the OS (High CPU usage) when the Music app is running?

Scrolling is absolutely horrible, not the smooth scrolling normally present in iOS. Now it's more like the experience in android, almost the same as scrolling on my Samsung. Hope that get changed in upcoming releases. 6+

The battery drain is kinda hit or miss for most people, just like many bugs (some get and some don't)

Just last Friday on Public Beta 1 I took the transit train in my city from one end to the other. The ride is anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour. I got on the train with 96% and when I got off the train it was still 96%. Screen off the whole time except I checked email twice quickly. Stock Apple EarPods (roughly 60% volume) and all music played was locally on my phone (not streamed)

I would still see the whole OS lag sometimes when using it, but definitely didn't drain battery for me when just left playing and untouched.
