Has anyone seen in Beta 4 have the restarting Music playback bug I've encountered in the PB?

Where rather than picking up the song you were last playing it goes to the first alphabetically listed song (I suspect the root cause involves proactive thinking I'll want to use the music app, and overriding the current playing track with the first track it can find).

The news app wasn't in beta 1 or 2 it was first available in beta 3... But yeah I can't get landscape videos to work in News either, I sent feed back as well.
The news app was in public beta 1 because I used it and that was where I sent feedback that videos did not work in landscape. The news app works much better and fluid in beta 4 so far no force closes but the videos on any articles in the news app won't rotate to landscape. I hope they fix this on release watching a video in portrait on an iPhone 5 is almost unwatchable.

Why does Apple music add songs from my music to the phone storage when I play them, shouldn't it just be streaming. But when I go off the grid it shows no songs. But in settings it shows songs are saved.. I eventually notice hours later the songs disapear from storage in settings.. Do the songs streamed cache for a while, and the eventually clean itself?

yeah i think that apple music adds the last couple of songs to cache, so they play offline, and then cleans itself after bit. I noticed that on iOS 8.4 as well. Pretty handy.

I don't know if this is new to this beta or iOS 9 but I discovered I can hit enter on my bluetooth keyboard to send texts and imessage now!
-iPad Air 2

I just noticed that the selection handle bars and cursor can now reflect the color of the app (not just blue or black). In the feedback app they're purple.

I don't run iOS betas but is this beta better in terms of performance than iOS 9 b1, b2 and b3 ? Smoother on old devices such as iPhone 4S and iPad 2 ?

Public beta 1 is Dev beta 3, they have the same build number, you never mentioned the public beta in your post so I was confused...

This is still happening to me as well. Same song, every time I get in the car and connect to Bluetooth. I really hope they fix this soon.

Anyone else not seeing a search bar in the podcast app? I have the icon at the bottom, when I go there, the page just turns white. No search bar at all.

Same here. I wasn't able to search in Beta 3 either, so it seems like this bug hasn't been reported enough for Apple to make it a priority.

I think it's a wider issue than just Music - on Beta 3 I noticed a lot of apps would lose their saved state if I used more than a couple apps in between, so it may be a memory management issue.

That being said, I noticed that if I resumed playing music before starting my car, it would usually resume where I left off even after connecting to BT.

I'm not sure which beta solved this for me but safari no longer pauses audio from other apps if there's embedded video.

Also the keyboard autocorrect seems to have gotten even dumber. In this post alone it kept changing "this" to "his". I wish there was a way to turn off autocorrect but still have misspelled words underlined.

Groups are not saved in iMessage/Text auto-fill/choices anymore.

When pulling down to Request Desktop Site in Safari, the option is no longer available.

I actually use that everyday since it's possible (around iOS 5 or 6 I think). Settings >General > Keyboards, disable Autocorrect and let Spelling on (My iPhone is French so I'm translating myself to "Spelling", but that's the line right under Autocorrect).

I'm still on iOS 8.4, though. Maybe you already know this and want to say it's a bug or something ?

Probably because they duplicated it in previous betas. You can request Desktop Site from the Share sheet now.

EDIT

Or… that shortcut works too. Even better !

Long press the refresh button to get the Request Desktop Site in Safari

Or use the option for that present in the share sheet.

I believe this was changed from the beginning of iOS 9 betas.
