iOS 9.1 Beta 3 Changes, Fixes & Bugs

Line Messenger has a bug as well with IOS 9. I just upgraded to the newest version as well 9.02 and bug still exists. Line Messenger notifications on main Apple Notifications can not be cleared. Also takes 1-2 seconds before it opens now. There is a lag now opening Line Messenger and clearing notifications. Sound on notifications for Line Messenger is also not working
 
What are the specifics of this?
  • 3D-Touch on homescreen has a latency in Light and Medium setting (no latency in Firm setting)
My 3D Touch is no different to b2 and I'm on the default medium setting. I tried messing with the lower and upper settings but nothing untoward happens.

Your forgot to mention the Feedback app on the device itself for bugs as well. You don't have to use their website. If using El Capitan you can also use it's feedback assistant and choose iOS 9 as well by opening the application on OS X, choosing New Feedback, and top right corner choose "change" and choose any beta programmes.

Press on a app on the homescreen. On Light and Medium the 3D-Touch menu appears after a small pause. On Firm setting it appears immideately.

Anybody noticing issues with iCloud Photo Library??

When I go to really old photos on cellular they only load 1/4 of the way in the little circle loader on the bottom right.

When I turn on wifi it downloads fine but when I swipe to the right for the next photo then that photo is blurry and showing an exclamation mark in the bottom right and the only way to open that photo without bluriness is to select the photo directly from the gallery view.

i dont have a feedback app on 9.1 beta 3

Working just fine for me on PB 3

Edit: just started getting this error on the Xfinity app. Ugh. Was working fine on PB 2. And yes, I get this channel and all the other ones that won't show.

Anyone notice the menu bar has changed for Apple Music? My music has move to the left instead of far right.

It's done that since even the earlier betas of iOS 9. I haven't tested it but I'm sure it only happens when you have parallax wallpaper enabled.

I have a still wallpaper set and it still does it. However when you go in, it defaults back to perspective. Anyway selecting still again didn't change anything but turning on reduced motion solved it. Interesting tuning it back off it still seems to be fixed. So perhaps simply toggling reduced motion will solve it.

On the contrary here - I have lag /latency issue with Firm setting. But with Light - no issues at all.
 
Based on my experience so far with each iOS 9 beta iteration, I don't think we can realistically expect a complete stutter free experience on any device. Even the 6S has plenty of them!

So synchronised isn't available for me either. I'd overlooked it in previous betas and never tried it. But what i have noticed is that all custom vibrations i set-up for various contacts are ignored, They all play the standard vibrate (whatever that happens to be set to).

Are you guys having the sane issue if you set a per-contact vibrate pattern?

The 5 is smoother than the 5S. Pretty weird.

Yes. 6s+, and the 3D touch shortcuts on the home screen have so much more lag and stutter on 9.1b3 then 9.0.2, I've already gone back and it's definitely noticeable.
