My supposed 120mbpsfrom XFinity is non-existant. No idea what it is. But its been night and day across all devices. Im in UT. WiFi on 5GHZ is just an absolute horrible experience on all of my iOS devices. The Macbook is fine and never drops. Maybe I just need someone to help me configure my home network properly. Plus a son who plays LoL and PS4 and Xbox for hours on end might not help either lol.
Those crazy teenagers! lol You might at the very least run something like Speedtest from your devices to see what speeds you are actually receiving on the 2.4GHz vs 5GHz networks. 120mbs service should be fairly fast your son not withstanding. I certainly would investigate your network router as well. What hardware do you use? By the way, on my iPhone 6s plus the speed over 5GHz 11ac is very fast!

I don't see what does not match there. Looks pretty much the same.

Some said that there there was a bug, I tried it and everything was fine. Yes, they match, that's why I added it to bug fixes and provided a screenshot :)

Quit arguing with him and just report him.
yep thats is what has to happen at this point. We are 4 pages in and 90% of the discussion is with him and the other 10% bugs not pertaining to 9.2.1 b2 at all. Hopefully mods will step in and take back control so we can get back on topic.

In other news, 9.2.1 b2 seems ok so far not really seeing any changes from b1 other that does seem a tad more responsive in general.

These forums were useful in the past for bugs etc., now they are useless. It lags...no it doesn't...yes it does...show me...you're a liar blah blah blah. Is there somewhere else to go to find a forum that actually has some insights about the update? I'm done here. Moderators need to do a better job of shutting stuff down faster.

This will probably be my last post on this forum, as i have moved on. You need to accept the fact this will never change NEVER! Timmy is out to make more products and more money for shareholders, his Apple doesn't care if your phone lags/stutters everywhere that would make him profit in the near future by you upgrading, and you will as will other users in these forums! if you think about it's smart, Apple users are easily manipulated by Apple IMHO that will never change, for one that leaves 10 will join. Your only hope is something comes out of the class action lawsuit https://www.macrumors.com/2015/12/29/ios9-iphone-4s-lawsuit/

Even if that is not money hopefully the option to downgrade the 4S and other models to an ios of their liking.

I really hope that lawsuit goes somewhere.I am ready to put in some of my own $ to help them should the need arise.Deliberately slowing down the 6 so users can buy the 6S is not cool. They knew 6s owners wouldn't upgrade to the 6 based on 8.4.1 performance levels which is why they have intentionally put in code in spotlight and control centre which bogs it down.I handled a 6S the other day and the CC and spotlight is night and day on a 6S as compared to the 6.
where is your video evidence?

I have posted a **** ton of visual evidence in the other beta threads and repeatedly send them to Apple.Nothing changes.Scroll down the list of apps in Mobile Data.Stuttercity.Pull down to spotlight still has a 1 second pause before responding. The control centre has lag when swiped up in Siri, app switcher and when we swipe it up in spotlight.I have since stopped using it because it annoys me.On the Air 2 open the wishlist and via the app switcher navigate to to home screen and here is lag in transition.Scrolling in almost all apps has become a pain.It used to be buttery smooth on 8.4.1 wherein some Android fanboys actually envied iOS.Now it's become worse than Android.
Any gripes about lag should be banned. Ruins the point of any discussion post. Really.
Lag is a bug and better performance is highlighted on the main page of iOS 9 on Apple's website.Stop living in denial. If you don't like what we post than add us to the ignore list. Its that simple.

I never realized the Siri control centre lag. Jesus, it's atrocious! It's to the point where dragging it down doesn't even register my touch... Damn..

I think Apple is nearing completion of development of iOS 9. 90% of their team must already be on next iOS 10 or iOS X. Stability wise, iOS 9 is the best iOS out there. But random stutters kill the experience on 2014 and older devices.

We should not expect any sweeping changes to anything from upcoming iOS 9 updates. Just few security fixes to patch jailbreak exploits.

Have you investigated the possibility that it is related the recent implementation of IPv6 by ISPs in some parts of the US? That has certainly been the case in Tucson AZ.
Interesting. I'll have to do some digging. The last time I checked, RCN in the Philly suburbs still had IPv4

Please stay on topic folks and avoid the bickering. I removed a large chunk of posts because the thread was getting derailed. As for the wiki post, Its intended to record actual bugs a member as experienced. Lets keep it that way and not just copy/paste items as that will only confuse everyone

Can anyone please test if they fixed the outlined keyboard bug with quick reply on the lockscreen? Thanks!

Apple doesn't care about a smooth UI anymore. Sad but true. iOS 9 will even bring the incredibly powerful 6s down to its knees more often than you would expect.

It's not planned obsolence, it's just that performance isn't a priority anymore for Apple (sloppiness). Don't know what is worse though.

If performance is not a priority to Apple, then what is?

Performance is not really the same as occasional animation stutters in a few places aren't really the same thing. That's not to say that either one shouldn't be as good as it could be, but that they are somewhat separate things. In any case, not really what the thread is about.

It is also performance. Performance is both the time it takes you to go from A to B and how you get from A to B.
