It's perfectly in context and no ridicule is happening there. Just making a generalized observation as to how some things often come off in threads like this.
It's out of context because all those observations have always specifically targeted the 5s and 6.

In a way I kinda understand the reason why the 6 is laggy. The A8 wasn't much of a improvement over the A7 in the 5S which is why both perform similarly. The 6S absolutely blows away the A8 unlike any S update so it should last longer than the 6 does

It's that "horrific" bug that would cause the settings app to scroll a little bit down when you open it rather than staying at the very top.
And here I thought that was a proactive feature because it always scrolled to the place I go to most, general.

Is Phone app bug (hanging dialer, unresponsive screen in the app) fixed in 9.2 b1? Or was it fixed earlier?

On which device do you see this?

I've never once seen this happen on my Air 2 or iPhone 6.
On both.Sometimes the items show juddering/stutters as they place on the screen when I unlock my phone.Try restarting your phone and than unlock it.Frameskips occur 60% of the time

So it primarily occurs on your device when you first unlock after a restart? How often a day do you restart your devices compared to the amount of times you just unlock it for normal use?

I've never had the app icons suddenly appear or skip any part of their animation.

There are some folks saying that iPhone 5 is very smooth, so that tells me the 6 isn't as fluid because of the software. I really doubt it's hardware related.

Can anybody check if these bugs are still present in iOS 9.2?

Smartcover Volume Display iOS 9.1 bug

Unlocking the ipad with the smartcover, the "volume display" is not shown. However, if you turning on your ipad with the on/off button, there is not any issue.

TAPPING INDICATOR KEYBOARD BUG IOS 9.1 (REDUCE TRANSPARENCE ON)

If you "reduce transparence" ON, you don´t see the tapping indicator when you write in a white keyboard. No issues with black keyboard or reduce transparence OFF. This bug is present since ios 8.

Nobody?

Gotta be in it to win it
What impasse? A lot of people have issues, a lot of people have posted proof of what their issue is. There is no impasse. There is nothing to debate. There are issues, it's been well established, there are a lot of videos floating around MR showing the issues. There is no impasse, lol.

And sure you can reproduce the video. Grab a 5, grab a 5s, put 9.1 on them, then simulatenously flick up the control center on those devices while filming it in slomo mode using a different phone, upload the video. Would be actually awesome if you did :) .
My feeling is if I need to film in slo-mo to prove there is an issue; there is no issue.

I'm using 5s as my dev phone, and yes, this update makes the 5s run very smooth. I'm going to wait a bit before updating any betas on the 6s because it seems to be working fine. I've noticed a tendency where the first beta makes the 5s faster and 6s slower, although it might be completely subjective on my end, I felt like the last two betas had that pattern (except the first iOS 9 beta was completely unusable). Sometimes they flip flop, can't comment on the 6 but maybe the 5s is optimized for it's size, I have no idea? I also assume when people mention 5 they're talking about about 5s b/c the chip is compatible with the modern stuff

It's not necessary to film it in slomo, you can also film it in 60fps, however, filming in slomo makes it just much easier to see.

What makes you say that? When people are talking about the 5, they're talking about the 5. The reason for this is because the iPhone 5 is smoother than the 5s in a direct comparison. Not faster, smoother.

Why do you have to start messing with frame rates and Slo mo just to show there is issues!! Just a straight up video will suffice won't it.

Seriously whilst lag or not is one aspect this thread is drowned out by that single issue... It really isn't helpful. I wouldnt dispute there's various perceptions of lag bit perhaps we could keep these kind of threads to a summary and thrash the detail in a different one. Meanwhile time to give up on this one of not the forum. Too much noise

Iv said this all along it should have its own post.... It's on near enough every entire posts on here even if they are not about performance.

No, because a straight up video is 30fps. The human eye has a far higher "frame rate" than 30fps.

I agree. Perhaps people should stop the denial. Why is it that everyone can have any issue, but whenever that you say that your phone lags you suddenly have to testitfy in front of the Supreme Court.

Understandable but your daily user will notice any lag/stutter anyway so I don't understand why they need to be messed with as these videos make it look a lot worse than it actually is. From a developer perspective then yeah maybe do it but that should then be put in a developer thread maybe.

So that we can establish the issue in an objective manner. Now, for determining how the issue affects you or me, that's a whole different (irrelevant) discussion. The point is, iOS 8(.4.1) did not exhibit this issue and iOS 9(.1) does. If you don't care, that's fine.

Iv seen threads regarding iOS 8 and the point upgrades after being laggy. Same with iOS 7z. So it's not just specific to iOS 9. It seems to come around every year with the same people all time. Obviously if my phone was bad like some of you guys it would bother me but tbf it ain't at all. It's pretty smooth responsive fast only seen 2 bugs 1 in YouTube and 1 in weather app. Battery is near same as before 10+hours.
