If it's too early to talk about stuttering, then there's no improvement. If there's no stuttering - improvement, otherwise there's nothing to talk about in this beta.
All or nothing?

There's improvement in the App Switcher on my 6+ and Air 2. That tells they are moving in the right direction.

It does get old but I'm persistent. :) Never been asked if I've set up as new but I have several 5S's, one of which I use to set up as new to test for these bugs to eliminate issues with third party apps causing performance problems.

iOSBry

I understand their reasons. If Facebook was caught I bet other apps do similar shenanigans.

Unfortunately we don't have any tools to monitor performance.

Settings bug is fixed. Now THAT'S improvement.

Well, I am on 9.0.2 with completely lag free, 60FPS multitasking (had to use a simple jailbreak tweak). I am not a fan of jailbreaking and staying on old versions of iOS, but since iPad Air is barely usable on iOS 9, I have no other options. Thus, minor if any improvements aren't good enough.

Have you tried some sound related settings in the accessibility section of settings? Like just enabling mono sound and disabling it again, and/or doing something similar for the few other sound related options? I've had some weird things happen with sound (basically distorted/muffled sound) after some iOS 8 updates, and after looking around online one of the things I came across which surprisingly ended up doing the trick was enabling and disabling some of those settings (the mono sound one in particular).
Already tried on both iphone and ipad.I am thinking of doing a full restore via iTunes.Just got to backup all my data first

Does anyone have this issue in Apple Wallet? I have overlapping card numbers. It's just ugly more than anything.

Apps switcher is choppy as hell on Air 2 when re-entering apps. Has this been addressed at all? Its seriously under 10FPS right now unless you have only 3 apps open. Turning off transparency makes it better so once again these stupid effects are slowing things down.

Makes sense, especially since you're jailbroken.

Hope they continue to tweak and improve the OS.

Just another boring lag report:

App switcher much smoother on my 6+ and MUCH smoother on my Air. We're getting somewhere!
I agree. I don't get it. I'm not even that sensitive to lag and I notice the improvement. 9.2 is definitely making strides.

Did the spotlight pages change (both pull down and left scroll)? I don't remember seeing so many icons on the page, it maybe that I never had that much suggestions. Also, the search bar size changed and the input field is smaller but there is room to keep it full size so I don't know if it is a bug or what. On my iPhone 6+

Can I make a suggestion that when updating the bugs section of the wiki, you indicate if it's a new bug particular to this release, or one still present from a previous release.

Another thread completely lost to the lag/stutter crew.

I updated last night and now I have NO sound for notifications. Even if I go into settings to switch my text alert I get no sound when switching between the options like I'm supposed to.

I was also having issues with the Bluetooth in my car this morning. One minute it was fine and the next it was popping on and off every couple of seconds. Wouldn't stay connected long enough to even start playing music.
I had same issue with iOS 9.1 beta (maybe 3 or 4) with no sounds not even in settings. Just after the install. A reboot solved it and never showed back up.

Is spotlight lag still there?
How about I tell you it's improved to me, since your eyes can pick up the faintest of lag and mine cant. ;)

To me, it's better than 9.1. App Switcher is definitely better. Much happier with it.

Well to me, its the exact same. I wont blame you for having the eyes you have but don't bring in false hope. The lag is STILL there.

App Switcher is much, much better. Spotlight is better.

Obviously I can't see what you can, in regards to fluidity. But I can see the improvement and truthfully, that's what betas are for.

The animation issues that due exist do not make the system unusable and that's what important up to this point.

Is this also being fixed on the 6plus?

Here's a crippling bug that requires a forced restart holding both home and power buttons:

This bug was in iOS 7.0 and fixed in 7.1. Somehow it's back and even worse than it was in 7.0.

Well thats a bummer.Apple has 4 months to give me 8.4.1 speed or I will probably sign in for Samsung's iPhone trade in program
