No matter what I do, I can't reproduce on iOS 9.2 beta 1.Here's a crippling bug that requires a forced restart holding both home and power buttons:
This bug was in iOS 7.0 and fixed in 7.1. Somehow it's back and even worse than it was in 7.0.
Some one once said they could sniff out "micro stutters". By the way, that was not you.Well thats a bummer.Apple has 4 months to give me 8.4.1 speed or I will probably sign in for Samsung's iPhone trade in program
Hold the home button down before flicking Notification Center to the bottom of the screen. Notification Center has to be pulled down all the way before pulling it up and flicking it back to make this happen. No matter what I do, I can't reproduce on iOS 9.2 beta 1.

Yeah, you had 3 posts in a row with the lag thread info. (Which I 1000% agree with btw) You could have edited the first post. That for me??

For those of you submitting performance related bug reports, you might want to enable stackshot logging so you can attach the stackshot logs to your reports - Apple engineer's have requested I do this for six of my performance related bug reports. You can follow the steps here to enable: https://developer.apple.com/bug-reporting/ios/stackshot/For those of you that are interested, I've been submitting bug reports for each instance/type of lag/stuttering/dropped frames in iOS that I encounter with detailed steps to reproduce (where I can) and have six reports where engineering has asked that I enable stackshot logging, reproduce the issue and then send them the logs.
Here's hoping they get to the bottom of these issues!

While it may not be normal "real life usage", doing so should never put your device in this state. Is this real life usage in your opinion?
Are you saying the bug should stay? Jesus. I talk about performance and people say not to do that here. Then I point out a bug in the "Point out bugs" thread and somehow there's still a problem. Is this real life usage in your opinion?

Some people just take anything that isn't 100% agreement as a complete and full attack. Makes it rather hard to have a meaningful discussion about much as it's usually just not worth bothering even.I'm not. I asked if you feel this is real life usage. What does Jesus Alou have to do with that?
It's also been accepted that iOS 9 does not stutter! There are legions of us that simply do not have that issue! Enough with your blanket statements! How?
I didn't say "it's just your device" or "smooth here". It's been accepted for a while now that iOS 9 does stutter. However it's the relentless few that feel the need to post their dissatisfaction in any and all threads that even mention iOS 9. Claiming because it's utterly useless to them it's fact that it will be utterly useless to all. When the hard truth is, it varies person to person. So for them to keep "scaring" people away from updating because of their blanket statement, that's when others chime in about only each individual user can decide for themselves if it's good enough (for now and will most likely get better over time) and worth the new features.
The constant whine posts about lag are getting borderline childish at this point when they find their way into every single thread related to or not about it. I swear if someone started a thread "I have 9 safari tabs open" just the fact the number "9" is in the title, lag posts would find their way in there. Again, it's not until then do others chime in to provide whatever OP with more usable feedback instead of whiney one sided BS.
Seems like it was repeated to reiterate the point.Yeah, you had 3 posts in a row with the lag thread info. (Which I 1000% agree with btw) You could have edited the first post.
You're the one who won't contribute to any discussion directly related to iOS. I tell you about actual issues and you tell me I'm attacking people and that I have some narrative. You told me you didn't want to talk about performance. Some people just take anything that isn't 100% agreement as a complete and full attack. Makes it rather hard to have a meaningful discussion about much as it's usually just not worth bothering even.
I've been seeing the same issue on two 5S's as well; it's definitely annoying.Found a major bug with iPad Air 2. Was also in iOS 9.1.
If you select the far left app (or close to it) in the task switcher you end up with the screen being blurred for a second or two.
I can confirm that this does not happen on 9.0.1 (what my local Apple Store iPhones and iPads are still running) so is definitely software related.
I shall report it via the feedback app and hope it's resolved by the next beta.I've been seeing the same issue on two 5S's as well; it's definitely annoying.

How about touching apps to open them mid animation while leaving an app? Did they return this behavior yet? Or are you still stuck waiting for the animation to finish completely? I've noticed in 9.1 I can tap app cards in the switcher mid animation and the phone registers it again! Haven't seen that since iOS 7!Just updated to PB of 9.2 on my iPhone 6 and it's fantastic. App Switcher is noticeably smoother as is Spotlight being pulled down with Siri Suggestions enabled.
All kidding aside, the app switcher is definitely a lot smoother in iOS 9.2 on the iPhone 6.
Please report bugs to bugreport.apple.com
Changes:
Bug fixes:
- App Switcher - scrolling is more sensitive and a new animation is seen when scrolling to the far right of the app previews (beyond home screen preview)
- Music - easier to see what music is on the device (Offline music) with new icons
- SFSafariViewController - long tapping the Reload button in the SFSafariViewController now gives options to Reload Without Content Blockers and Request Desktop Site, like in Safari
- SFSafariViewController - SFSafariViewController now supports 3rd party Action Extensions. Any Action Extension that works in Safari will also work in SFSafariViewController
- Siri - Arabic added as a supported language.
Bugs:
- 3D-Touch - lag on homescreen (iPhone 6S Plus) on light and medium setting fixed
- App Switcher - fixed a bug where the icon of the 3rd app on the app switcher would not appear until you scrolled towards it
- Dynamic Wallpaper - screen no longer flashes black when switching to home screen from the app switcher
- iCloud Drive - search inside folders and subfolders is fixed
- Settings - settings scroll bug is fixed; however, it occasionally flashes the search settings field briefly before coming into view
- Spotlight Search - pull down overlapping home screen icons is fixed with a workaround, increasing distance between icons and search bar.
Performance improvements/issues:
- App Switcher - settings screen in app switcher still blank
- App Switcher - scrolling as far to the right as possible and tapping the home screen preview while holding it to the left side of the screen will make the animation jump
- iCloud Keychain - sometimes, while setting up iCloud Keychain, you receive a Could Not Set Up iCloud Keychain error. Workaround: Reboot the device
- Messages - animation missing when tapping on Edit and then Cancel (the messages will just pop back)
- Music - "Show complete album" missing when you have less than the full album in My Music
- Videos - videos with 'folw' track associations will fail to play on 32-bit devices.
- If you "reduce transparency": ON, you can´t see the tapping indicator when you write in a white keyboard. No issues with black keyboard. This bug is present since ios 8. (as seen here: Youtube)
I'll add to my previous report that the app will also sometimes look very distorted and partially cut off until it is rendered properly again.Found a major bug with iPad Air 2. Was also in iOS 9.1.

Assuming these issues are present for everyone and aren't some installation glitch or something like that, which happens often enough.Just did update and have the following issues (already reported to Apple)
1. Battery draining rapidly. Went from 48% to 32% in about 15 minute - regular usage on iPhone 6s Plus
2. Does not indicate in top info bar that I'm connected to wifi, even though within the wifi setting screen it shows connected.
