My battery life is amazing so far: 7,5h Usage with 40 hours of standby and 52% left on the iPad Air 2.
Maybe you should reread what you quoted. 7.5 hours of usage, 40 hours of standby with 52% remaining. Thats 15+ hours of usage, 80+ hours of standby.7.5h is amazing? ipads used to last for 10h or more, they sell us that for every new ipad announced. In fact ipad mini 1 reviews showed 12h usage. Standby consumption is minimal
Exactly one year ago I updated my ipad from 7.1 to 8.1. I'm still regretting...
Did you try that with one? Curious if that actually solves it. As stated if you just look at the recents it shows which number the call came from. So that helps a little but I like the blue highlight in the i screen myself but I suppose the recents screen saves a step/click if you think about it.This is extremely annoying, I heard the solution is to delete the contact then re-enter them, what a pain, I hope they fix this.

So yes, if they are stating 10 hours and you can pull 15+ hours, that is considering amazing. I get about 12-13 hours of heavy use on my Air 2.
that is an exaggeration and you know it.
you were never 'waiting' for every single animation on your phone whilst feeling stupid that your friends were zipping along on their androids.
that never happened, and you know it.
Your post made me laugh! I suppose I feel stupid having to watch my Android friends having to constantly charge their phones and having them wonder out loud why it is that they can't upgrade their phones to the latest flavor of marshmallow or what the latest flavor of cookie, cake or pizza Android's are currently running. By the way, I'm on a iPhone 6 and it is running 9.2 Beta 3 splendidly, no stutters, no micr-stutters, no ghostly animations just smooth all the way around and fantastic battery life to boot! Maybe on of your friends can lend you one of their Android phones from their collection while you are waiting for your iPhone to render those glacial animations? This is terrible. I feel stupid seeing my Android friends using their phones very quickly, and having to wait every single animation to finish before interacting with my phone.

Radon: I've noticed your continued annoyance with your iPhone. Time to explore greener pastures with an Android? You just might find yourself happier constantly trying to upgrade to the latest flavor of marshmallow or whatever the latest flavor only to find out that you can't because of any number of excuses. Been there done that! The iPhone world is so much better!Damn my iPhone is performing really bad.Cant get more than 4 hours of battery life and on top of that this irritating lag.Screw this ****
When do these jumps happen?Anyone know if the battery meter percentage jumping around is fixed.
A DFU or recalibrate does not fix this. Its just the meter calculating on a 5-10 minute delay when charging
Not a major issue
Not being rude here my friend, just replying to your blanket statements. I don't have the foggiest idea what is wrong with your iPhone (very likely is faulty iOS install or upgrade) but rest assured there are many, many iPhone users that are very happy with their experience with iOS 9.x. As far the Nexus line goes, I happen to have a friend with the latest Nexus phone and regrets every minute he has to use it. He can't wait to come back to an iPhone...there is just the matter of that silly contract! However you are absolutely correct in saying that iPhone provides the best ecosystem of all options out there.Don't be rude. Nexus phones are always up to date, and have a pretty good battery life. And yes, I feel stupid because I spent so much time saying iOS was the most powerful mobile OS, and now I feel like it's no longer the case. I stick with my iPhone because I believe it has the best ecosystem (apps, accessories) and support, but please let me say that those interaction blocking animations make the navigation in iOS slower than the navigation in the latest Android versions with recent phones.
At least, if your UDID is registered, you can do a "clean" install without worrying Apple brick your device.What... So I've just paid to get my UDID registered for no reason? I thought only GM's could be installed without UDID registration?

Otherwise, no serious consequences.
Is this NEW (Use Dictation without Internet)? I also notice dictation doesn't work in Macrumors or Safari search anymore? I'm wondering if this is a bug?

Confirmed on my iPhone 6s plus as well, works fantastically.I'm not seeing this on my iPhone 6. Perhaps dictation without the Internet is a 6S feature?
I don't know how anyone could be happy. Satisfied or content maybe, but not happy. The 6s is far more powerful than it needs to be from a hardware perspective, yet performance still visibly suffers even when it comes to the most basic of tasks like swiping through your home screens. The stutter in beta 2 was unacceptable. My 2013 Moto X was just as "smooth "most of the time and it was underpowered compared to its peers. So yeah, I'm not very happy.
Not nowadays, since ever when they screw up.Well why don't you try launching and using third party apps instead of swiping left and right to catch stutters? If that's all you care about then stop buying expensive phones because clearly that's not what you need them for. One iOS advantage that Google can NEVER catch up is the third party app experience. Everything just runs so much better on iOS. But hey, what do I know? Any opinion that praises Apple is unacceptable nowadays anyway.
