Ooh ooh I found a weird bug that actually appears to be a "bug" in the beta - I get PDFs of periodicals I subscribe to and a PDF file that was in excess of 100 pages caused black squares to appear at various spots on the pages of the PDF (I was viewing it in Safari, not Books). Magazine: "Premiere Guitar" (yes I am a guitar player).

Try a longer PDF and see what you experience.

Otherwise, the speed is much better and the battery life has not been an issue - for me. The one that really bugged me was the slow camera launching and at least that has been attacked with vigor but I bet they could get it a little better.

The animations of opening and closing apps has changed?? Didn't seem to be like this on Beta 2. Kind of minimises the app into a little box and then pops open and expands..

So SMS messages won't send because of NumberSync? If so, how do I deactivate it? It's quite annoying

I'm on 9.0.2 and Settings is blank as well in the app switcher. It's probably just that it doesn't save state for that app very long. Calculator is not blank though and is far away down the app switcher list then Settings.

App switchers are mainly useless to my theory when displaying more then 7+-2 items. Why? Because that's the amount of items usefully managed by human short term memory. If I don't know the approximate position, I'll need to look for it. Everytime I'll have to look for it in a list that's not sorted, I'm way faster opening it with going Home then using the memorized icon position or searching with spotlight.

Android recents were like this with 10 items pre Lollipop, then they boosted it to 50.

Even better Battery Life here on 6+!

edit: Strange... copy a Picture frome iCloud.com will split it in half...
edit2: uploaded the full pic..

Wow... How did you pull that off? I tried squeezing as much time as I could out of that one single charge.

Anyone have problems with FaceTime and FaceTime audio suddenly not working over cellular (just text saying to contact carrier)?

FaceTime was working for me for years over cellular without an issue (am on att mobile share that includes it).

Can somebody confirm in iOS beta 9.2 beta 3 the lag in the app switcher being fixed (iPhone 6s +) Also the 3d touch press animation? Is this being fixed in the latest beta?

The app switcher is just as smooth for me on the 6s Plus with 9.2 b3 as it was on iOS 8/iPhone 6. Just about perfect- it feels so much better! 3D Touch is improved, but still not great. It doesn't look horrific anymore, even if it's still not that smooth.

Really?! Hmmm I'm looking forward for 9.2 then! But do you see occur any kind of stutter or lag?

Pulling down the search screen from the top is still a little stuttery, but much improved from 9.1. Pulling the search screen from the left is buttery smooth. The control center still isn't a perfect 60 FPS, but it is very close to the way it worked on 8.4.1. Opening any app is instant and completely smooth.

Overall, 9.2 will be fantastic!
