It appears that that is the case.So if you're already running 9.2 (beta 4) it's the same as the final release?
The app switcher has been tweaked, think it might take some getting used to for me.
That primarily applies when Reduce Motion is enabled (now that Apple reduced motion there as well).Fast? In my case it went from fast to slow on my iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2, I can't swipe and go beyond the next app which I could before. It is much less smooth in that regard because it just stops when reaching the next app. There seems to be more accuracy but swiping to apps that are further down the list is now very unpleasant. It takes too much swiping which makes it more RSI prone. The previous way was only a bit too quick but at least you could go through the list quite quickly.
No use my tutorial. Please not connect, only from other device search. And please tap from other device the wifi search. Tap 5x the search icon. Why tap? For wifi network searchOdd. Worked before here, working still now. Seems fine. ??
Seems to be a bit buggy. When you disable Reduce Motion it is fast again but when you enable it afterwards, it will be faster than it was prior to enabling Reduce Motion but not as fast as when Reduce Motion is entirely disabled. Making gentle longer swipes also seems to help. That primarily applies when Reduce Motion is enabled (now that Apple reduced motion there as well).

It's mostly related to how it works with Reduce Motion enabled. For what device?
If my phone has to lag for an extra second here and there, and in a way that does not impede function in the slightest...in order to ensure that a family somewhere out there gets to spend time with their dad over thanksgiving, i'm 100% okay with that.
I may be the minority.
Rather than dropping frames when force touching an app icon, the pop-up animation is now buttery smooth. This was bugging me a bit but now the UI is running perfectly!
So there isn't a single difference to beta 4? Not even slight speed improvements?
How did you update from B4 to literally B4? Same build number. Only way to update would be a restore through iTunes. But it's still not an update.I was on Beta 4 - Just updated to this version, hopefully it's more stable? :/

So essentially restore as new (or from backup)? Interesting. I'm completely shocked that there wasn't any build change whatsoever. Even iOS 9 GM was different than final release. Was told by Apple Music support team to 'update' via iTunes as i'm experiencing an issue where there's no 'make offline' button.. :/
Noticed this on the iPhone 5. App switcher, the only place where it actually stutters is fixed! I really wasn't expecting this since the device was so old. I have no idea what they were talking about when they said they "Improved performance while in Multitasking UI" in iOS 9.1 'cause it sure as hell didn't for me.On iPhone 6 it is smooth as warm butter. Much much better than iOS 9.1. I must mention I skipped the betas.
App switcher, quick search (scrolling down) and control center are lag-less. That's awesome.
