Does 9.2 fix the 48 hour TouchID bug? It seems to be happening to me a lot lately on my iPhone 6, but I don't see much discussion about it here. Was another fix posted?

I've been getting this as well. Super annoying. At first I thought it was the sensitivity of the new fingerprint sensor on my 6s, but I'm not really sure.

They have fixed App switcher stutter on iPad Air 2 but things have gotten worse overall. Now my Air 2 will stutter at totally random places.

So this 9.2 is pathetic as far as smooth user experience goes.

What about the annoying bug that causes the UI to wait since the animation has ended before coming responsive again?

Nope.

We got it at 7 and they fixed it at 8 and now it returned in 9. One of the only remaining things that annoy me with 9, especially on iPads using pinch to close.

No stutter when you scroll the wallpapers.
No stutter when you're in App Switcher.
No Settings white icon on the app Switcher.
No stutter on the control center (still lags in siri).
Quick reply really fast.

I did a clean install on a iPhone 5s

How is the battery ?

iPhone 6s Plus here. Noticing after the update that initiating the task switcher by using 3-D touch on the left border is much more responsive and easier. It also seems like text selection using the keyboard touchpad function is smoother as well. It does what I wanted to more often.
How do you use text selection using keyboard touchpad??

App switcher in 9.2 is jerky..why is Apple messing up trying to fix things which were not broken?
With Reduce Motion off appswitcher somewhat similar to 9.1 but then you also get those app opening/closing animations which was the main reason for turning off reduce Motion.
Has anyone figured out getting back smooth app switcher again with Reduce Motion on?

It's not that it's jerky it's that it has reduced motion/animation now.

Sucks that the final release is the same build as beta 4. The 9.2 betas had a few bugs that went unfixed still, the worst of which that I've experienced being iTunes updating (i.e. removes a bunch of album artwork and nothing else) my entire library twice every time I add new music.

Quite a few threads are popping up here and on the Apple support forums about offline songs from Apple Music being deleted after the update. For those who have thousands of songs, this is a huge bug. This has happened to my girlfriend and myself now.

aghhh... did anyone else find that some of the albums that you had already 'made available offline' is no longer on your device?
I just had to redownload 17 albums worth of music!!!
Hoping it's not duplicating.

Not just some albums, some users are finding all of their offline music downloaded (in some cases thousands of songs) were deleted.

Not good. where did it go? if they were deleted I'm fine with that but if they're being buried and hece wasting space I'd be upset!

I don't know where the files went, my devices storage capacity went back up 20GB indicating the files were all deleted. If I had to guess, I'd say this is happening due to the new tweaks to the download function added in the update. I've now read about 6-7 different threads on this happening to people.
