What about the annoying bug that causes the UI to wait since the animation has ended before coming responsive again?
I've noticed it's all gotten better. I had the same annoyance.

My iPhone 6s Plus is smoother overall.

That was very frustrating expecially after going to the springboard after the app-switcher.. let's hope that 9.2 has fixed that!

Control Center still lags near the top, but whatever.

However, the animation for launching apps seems a little smoother and more consistent. They're getting there.

Does 9.2 fix the 48 hour TouchID bug? It seems to be happening to me a lot lately on my iPhone 6, but I don't see much discussion about it here. Was another fix posted?

App switcher has become a lot smoother in animations here on my iPhone 5C. Overall across the board, the OS seems alot of places were fixed and polished.

Music app is still zzzzz and lags just the same as 9.1.

That's a shame. There are so many bugs on my 6s Plus in the public beta. I was really hoping things would improve.

This OS is a complete mess.
Interesting that the build number is the same as b4.

I'm seeing a very large improvement in what Apple is calling 9.2, over what I experienced with beta 4...even if the build number hasn't changed. SOMETHING has.

UI navigation is much more fluid, apps launch just a bit faster that you can actually notice, battery is not dropping as fast, and overall the OS just feels like butter.

I've ran every single iteration of the iOS 9 betas on an i6 and Air2, and this is the best I've seen IMO thus far, hands down. Haven't encountered any bugs or issues yet.

Backed up b4 data via iTunes, DFU'ed and restored everything to 9.2 final. Didn't even know it was the same build number until I read the forums. If I hadn't literally just read that, I would have thought this was a brand new build. Regardless, still feels like something has changed...bizarre.

What are these many bugs out of curiosity?
Safari still caches old tab images despite the fact that I may have closed the page minutes or even an hour prior to opening Safari again. This has been happening since iOS 8. It's ridiculous.

Copying doesn't work maybe 20% of the time. I press "copy" from any of the various ways to copy something, then go to paste it somewhere else, and what pastes is a previous copy, not the intended one.

Related to that, selecting text in Safari is still a crapshoot. I'd like to select a single line of text to copy, and the entire page gets selected. Then when you try to move the side cursors, it just jumps all over the place. Pathetic.

In Details in Messages, I've deleted content, then that deleted image's thumbnail becomes the thumbnail for another, completely unrelated piece of media that was right next to it.

When creating Calendar events from Mail, Travel Time from a specific location doesn't work.

In Messages, threads are scrolled up randomly when I go into it. Then they pop back down. It was similar to the formatting issue in Settings that persisted for me until 9.1.

These are just the most egregious ones I encounter on a daily basis. There are others. I've reset and refreshed and deleted time and time again. Nothing fixes these issues for me.

Something odd just happened. I went to download an album for offline play from Apple Music, thought nothing of it and continued doing what I was doing. Came back to my phone 15 minutes later and it was very warm, battery went down 60%, and it looked like it was trying to continuously retry downloading the album. Anyone else experience something like this?

Edit: Now it's redownloading ALL OF MY OFFLINE MUSIC. WTF.

I just upgraded my 5 and the performance improvement is noticeable.

Camera launches much more quickly. App switcher no longer stutters. Apps in general seem to open faster.

Hopefully the battery life is as good or better, but only time will tell.

iPhone 6s Plus here. Noticing after the update that initiating the task switcher by using 3-D touch on the left border is much more responsive and easier. It also seems like text selection using the keyboard touchpad function is smoother as well. It does what I wanted to more often.

iPhone 6s Plus video focus locks much better in low light (based on one quick test). Used to "hunt" repeatedly.

Can anyone post screenshots of the new iCloud and downloaded offline music icons in Apple Music?

Cheers
