9.2 is a gigantic improvement on my iPad 2. From using it for ten minutes, I believe it is more or less as fast as iOS7.1.2 on the same model. And some things actually feels faster! Very pleasently surprised.

My mom has an ipad 2, would you recommend it then? She's still on 8.1.4

My ipad mini 2 has beta 4 and feels sluggish as hell unless I reduce transparency. How on earth can this be considered normal by Apple??

Ios 9.1 was so frustrating and the battery life so awful lately that i was seriously considering ditching my iPhone 6 and returning to a HTC One M8.
But after updating to ios 9.2 last night, i tried a app launching test between my iphone and my gf's iphone 6 running 8.4.1.
While i did notice some animation stutters on my iphone and sometines apps would load a fraction of a second faster on her phone, once I started relaunching apps from the app switcher on both phones, i understood how indeed ios 9 might be actually better than 8.

While only one app reloaded on my phone, all but one reloaded on hers, so it seams that iOS 9 is way better with RAM management. After a day, battery life seams good enough too. Unplugged my phone 12 hours ago, still have 60% battery with 3 hours usage.

Anyone else seeing ram management improvements?

Yes, you would get an update then. You can always check your build number and compare to what has been released.

• Safari app preview window still blank via multitasking (Open Safari app, go to homescreen, open multitasking) -- Screenshot? Yes!

This seems to happen only when you are you using PRIVATE MODE. So i think it's meant to do that. works when in normal mode.

Anyone else notice that with 9.2 the personal hotspot switch in settings randomly switches to the off position even though the hotspot is still active and connected? Never saw this glitch until 9.2, and now I can't tell when the hotspot's actually off or on.

Battery is definitely draining faster than normal, on my 6S+
In the battery stats, , time since last full charge : Usage time = Standby time = 6h since I charged it this morning. I have actually used it <30 min. It's like the phone is not going to standby mode anymore. Have rebooted it but that doesn't fix the problem.

So far, my 6S is much better in every aspect. Faster, no bugs so far, responsive. Battery seems better aswell.

Fresh install works miracles.

I can't notice a difference on either my 6S or Air 2. If anything I feel like its slightly choppier but maybe thats because I'm looking for improvement that isn't there. I felt iOS 9.1 was ok on my 6S and Air 2 though.

iOS 8.4.1 is still obviously faster on my gf's 5S vs my 5S on 9.2. I haven't put it on my 4S yet, and I probably won't.

When using iOS 8 or this method no issue (Open Safari app using Private Browsing, open multitasking) -- This is new function in iOS 9 Apple? By yes. Then add in Safari Settings: Screenshot for iOS multitaksing (disable, white area). I dont need this bug/function

Then don't use Private Browsing!

No. I dont need cookies, history and this bug (maybe) in iOS multitasking etc...
Again I am not sure new function or not. Because in iOS 8 Private Browsing no issue.

I think it's meant to be that way. its private browsing so private browsing it is. i think if you go out of safari it's kind of hidden to other if you open the multitasking so it's not revealed to other people if you are out in the public. You probably have to use another browser if you wanna get around it.

EDIT: you can turn off cookies (block them) Don't know about history

Sorry more: I dont need save the cache, website data etc...

Safari app is better than the other browser in App-Store, because support content blocker,is fast/smooth (the webkit technology is better added as in other iOS browser) see benchmark test and my real life test.

When your theory is right. Ok no problem. I have the solution, see again the post. Add the options in Settings.

Its a feature to keep private browsing private. Open multitasking a couple hours later with someone standing over your shoulder and your private browsing is no longer private.

I'm confused though. You don't want websites to collect any data from you but you intentionally want iOS to screenshot and cache your browsing history?

Also do you use multitasking in such a way that requires your private browsing to be displayed?

Yeah, I don't see how that is a bug, it's a feature basically (perhaps one that was lacking or not working correctly earlier, but is working as it should now). Not sure why it's listed as a bug in the OP.

Reset All Settings. Just realize that, if you own an Apple Watch, you'll have to pair your watch again.

Yes I use sometimes games app or whatsapp on my iPhone or iPad. Not forget sometimes I need only 1 word, open fast multitasking see word, go back to games app and via keybord then that word.
And sometimes this copy/paste not working for website (this is normal) probably this website not optimized for mobile device e.g iPhone

Again I need as in iOS 8 Safari Private Browsing without this protection in multitasking (again maybe not new features and bug only) and the new iOS 9 content blocker.

For me as iOS 8 user is that a issue. See again in my post, when this a new features, then can Apple add my suggestion.
