6S+ - No more laggy 3D Touch now, finally. I was running 9.2.1 and it still was an issue!

But landscape 3D Touch needs work

Landscape 3D Touch is a smooth 60fps for me, not the 15fps mess it was at times on 9.2

9.3 is the best release to date for me honestly, it seems like Apple finally got their **** together and are putting work into 9.3 to really increase performance and features (stole f.lux but whatever I'm happy I have it now).

I literally just discovered this bug, I am on iOS 9.2 and I am unsure if this will be present on 9.2.1 or 9.3, mind if you guys check?

So I type in on the Safari search bar "uoft" and then a "." immediately after, it crashes Safari indefinitely. Every time without fail, I have replicated it. Is it present on 9.3, 9.2.1 or anyone else's 9.2?

I have an iPhone 6. I can avoid this by spacing, putting the period, then going back to remove the space. However, that's kind of annoying. 10/10 times I've done this, it crashed my Safari on iOS 9.2

iPhone 6 / iOS 9.2 here, and the steps you described do nothing here. No crashes.

Encountered a bug a couple times now since installing 9.3 beta 1.

Twice now swiping over to the Proactive Search screen it's blank and doesn't allow swiping back. Only pressing the Home button can exit back out and then going back into the Proactive Swarch screen right after it works again but the news section is blank for a while.
Happened to me on 9.2 and 9.2.1 betas.

Over a year ago I think. Was curious to try it because lot of users here were wishing it was on iOS devices. Most of my work on Mac is a photography/Video related so I did not find it useful at all. It was like looking at the world through a filter.
It's not supposed to be used when working in photography. That's quite obvious.

No crash here on a 6S with 9.2 when I type "uoft."

You can tell Apple have done some serious work on this release. Performance is much improved!
[doublepost=1452670493][/doublepost]
If it downloaded then it has not been pulled. Maybe something went wrong with the installation. Have you tried again?

I tried again, but now it shows "no updates" available. That 9.2.1 is the most current version.

I tried on my ipad, and it only shows 9.2.2.

Even deleted, and re-downloaded the profiles. Same result: no 9.3

The 3D touch shortcut for settings should include "Vibrate" to toggle vibrate on/off.

The new music app does not have the star rating? Wonder why they removed it?
It certainly does. In the Now Playing screen tap the large album artwork. The previous tapping of the song title now heads to the album that particular song is from which is a big improvement and more intuitive to me

Here's a change, however small it may be:
The detective emoji can now have his skin color changed

Not been able to try that on iOS 9.2, but it doesn't happen on my iPhone 6s with iOS 9.3 beta 1. Hope this helps.

Doesn't happen here either with 9.2 iPhone 6s+

I'm another who is only getting iOS 9.2.1 and no option to install 9.3 after installing the public beta profile.

Any ideas what's wrong or how to fix?

9.2.1 here and this doesn't crash my safari when I input it and press go.

I'm a beta-firsttimer and would like to take a look at Classroom. Registered and bought a one year membership yesterday and installed 9.3 on an iPad 4 just now. The only thing is: I can't find anything about Classroom on my iPad.

Do you guys have an idea? Isn't it an app? I can't find anywhere it on the internet...

You will need to setup OS X Server 5.1 and setup the classroom there. The devices do not just get the classroom app because they are on the beta. I would do some reading on the Developer site and the OS X 10.11 release notes. Feel free to PM me if you want some help :)

Public Beta for 9.3 isn't out yet. Maybe today?

They should add it to Control Centre instead and remove the hardware button. One less piece that can break.

I tried ios 9.0 on my 5s for a while and learned where it lags, eventually i downgraded. Now, after 5 months i decided to go from 8.4.1 cause I heard people that were initially bitching all the time that now the update is a lot better, the only thing that those incompetent software engineers managed to do is fix the animation when rotating the keyboard and that is only in the messages app, THAT'S IT. 5 MONTHS and they fixed only one freakin animation. Everything else stutters all the time, it s not bad like the iphone 4s but it s very noticeable.

Anyone with sensitive eyes for stutter/FPS tested it yet? I want a proper opinion on this - also, on older devices too - iPhone 5, 5S, 6 etc...

Like the change to the Music app. Agree with you here, it's much more intuitive.

Wow, that makes things so much easier. I hate the current combination of keys.
[doublepost=1452663994][/doublepost]
Actually, this is also present in 9.2, just in a different fashion. Just checked.

can you tell me where it is on 9.2? Thanks!
