Anyone tempted by this as a daily driver, I'd advise against it. You mileage may vary but here's my experience:
- Won't sync with the Apple Watch
- FaceTime doesn't work (as reported)
- Crashes a lot more than Beta 1
- Choppy animations (not smooth at all)
- Music app crashes lots
- Battery better than Beta 1 but still awful

I have no problem with Beta 2 as a daily driver. My battery life is actually pretty good. 4 hours off the charger and still at 91%, about what I was seeing out of 8.3.

Facetime is working for some but not others, it seems more of a problem on the 6+. I can't say I've ever used Facetime more than maybe once to test it when it came out back in the day, so idk.

I see no crashes or really choppy animations. A stutter here and there, but its a beta after all.

The Apple Watch issue is probably a Watch OS2 issue and not an ios9 issue.

Wow, this battery is amazing, almost too good to be true and better than I've ever noticed. My battery life has been showing as 61% about 4 hours ago. Just looking at it now, its only gone down to 59% with very little use. Not sure whether to believe it or not.

Overall, the battery life seems great and I haven't needed to plug it into a charger since yesterday evening.

Yes, I have crazy good battery life on both 6+ and Air 2. Unbelievable, really. Super reliable for daily use too.

I'm on a 6 plus. No issues with FaceTime worked 10/10 times. Haven't had one crash since release yesterday. Very slight choppiness (barely noticeable) and went 7 hours with heavy usage and 10 hrs Stanby without going below 25%.

My watch is syncing ok for the most part with Watch OS 2b2 and iOS 9b2. It still thinks I am in the South Atlantic Ocean when I look at weather sometimes but it seems to show the proper location on my watch face. It seems Beta 2 on both devices has also fixed my sync issues that I had with mail and messages. It's not as good as it was with the stable versions but it is close enough to not be a huge inconvenience anymore.

I've noticed some crashes with 3rd party apps but that is to be expected. Battery life is a lot better than beta 1. After about 3 hours I was usually at ~70ish percent. Now I am sitting at 94% with the 6.

"Looks like they were not kidding when they said iOS 9 gives an additional hour of battery under normal usage! I now get 5 hours usage as opposed to the 4 hours I had on beta 1"

Fixed for you......
Is this post for real? My original post was to make a differentiation between two different iOS numbers, not two betas.

What's the performace like in LPM? Is it like a iPhone 4 on 7.1.2? Does it force brightness down and you can't turn it back up? What else does it do?

It reduces Auto Lock time to 30 seconds, turns off Proactive, and I've read elsewhere that it reduces data speeds and CPU slightly. I'm not really noticing those decreases though.

Also, here's the difference in performance using Sunspider:

It doesn't seem to directly mention proactive (although it would make sense to disable that). I wonder if you can disable that on your own (through some setting, perhaps something similar to "reduce motion" or something like that) without low power mode.

on 6+ I had no lag issues and battery life great. Cant say anything about watch.

Anyone else not getting any notifications? I have to open the apps to recieve information like whatsapp, mailbox etc.

Notifications are working fine for me. In fact I turned quite a few of them off during dp1 since battery life was so miserable. Batt life is excellent in dp2 so I'll probably switch my settings back to the way they were.

is it still taking unusual amount of mobile data? i am asking cuz i only got 3GB a month

Glad yours is going well. I keep an eye on these threads and jump on the beta when all is reported to be good. That was the case this afternoon and I've upgraded and downgraded within hours.
