What is the big deal about OTA updates? I always just download it from the developer website and install it through iTunes. Is there a reason I shouldn't be doing that?
Well... Some of us uhh... Aren't exactly registered as developers, so we kinda need OTA. Besides that through the developer site just takes longer to download because its the entire OS which could be a problem for people with 5mb down speeds like me. Other than that no problem in doing that.

I'm installing the watchOS beta while waiting for the OTA release!
Neither watchOS 2 beta 3 nor iOS 9 beta 3 are showing off via OTA for me. Oh well, I guess I will download humongous iOS 9 beta 3 image from ADC.

This just in…not gonna happen.

I told you so. :p

Now I need to go through the entire thread and poke fun at the pessimists, and those who fall victim to normalcy bias. Chalk up another Wednesday release. That makes 14 releases on Wednesday, 13 releases on Thursday. People must stop saying it's only a Monday or Tuesday event, the data just doesn't support that conclusion.
