Hi,

Has there been any statement from Apple about the search panel and iCloud Drive ? I noticed it can find any file thatt I have in iCloud Drive, but tapping on the file name only gave me options to copy it to another app. No way, so far, to just open it in iCloud Drive. This is very frustrating. Why would I want to copy a pdf file to another app for example ?

Here are 3 screenshots as an example with the option given when tapping the file. Then the full list for the first row of activities and... the emptiness of the second row you have when tapping "more".

And the worst part.. the "search" field inside iCloud Drive can only find files/folders from the level you are looking at... not inside the subfolders or the entire Drive.

Strange isn't it ?

iCloud Drive app is getting better every beta. In this beta you can move files around and not only into the root level. They are tweaking the app, it's relatively new.

I'm on public beta 3 an noticed this in the last public beta too.

If I clear all the recent apps in the multitasking bar and restart the device, all the cleared apps are back again. Anyone else have this issue? This is on an iPad mini 2.

Yes this happens to me as well on my iPhone 5s. I closed all open apps. Power cycled the iPhone, and when it came back up I had 66 apps open on the mulitasking screen. The odd thing is, I don't think I closed that many apps before I power cycled the iphone.

It's back to rapid battery drain for me. No clue why. It was amazing in the previous beta. Third party apps disagreed with my battery somewhat, but once they're were removed everything was peachy.

Have they resolved the issue when restrictions for Music and Podcasts have been resetting to "Clean"? It's happening really often now in iOS 8.4. Previously, I thought it was when I added any music to My Music, now it's happening every time I open the app.

I don't get this anymore in Beta 5. I get landscape for one measurement at a time but when on the dashboard and I turn to landscape I no longer see the full graph like I used to get and you show here.
But it adds auto scale, from this beta.

Can anybody recall when the wallpapers were introduced in iOS8 beta timeline so that we can figure out how many betas we have left?

Knowing Apple the timeline has changed since but oh well.

I cannot force my iPhone 4s to push sms'es to one of my other devices. I was able to activate it for my iPad mini 2, however I cannot do it with my second iPhone (iPh 5). When I try to switch this option on, window opens, where I should enter the code appearing on the second device. But the code is not showing there.
It tried it hundreds times already, device hard reset nor network setting reset (for both devices) did not solve this problem. This is not new at iOS9 beta 5, it's been there since the first public beta :(.

And more general observation - my experience with this beta on iPhone 4s are very mixed. There are moments when it works really nice, smooth etc., but from time to time it becomes completely unresponsive, laggy and almost unusable. Hope they will manage to make it more consistent.
