Thanks, but in my case that didn't work. Same error message still.

Same here, can't update filters anymore. Nothing works except uninstalling and re-installing Adguard.

I use the following filters (14/59):
English
Spyware
Social media
German
Mobile ads
Safari
EasyList
EasyList Germany
Easy Privacy
Fanboy's annoyances
Fanboy's enhanced tracking
Peter Lowe's list
Prebake
Anti-Adblock killer

21750 filter rules are used. This happens on both iPad and iPhone.

I'm not sure if this is relevant but I'm in the USA and Adguard filters are updating normally on my iPhone 6 and iPad Pro 9.7. Thought this info might help with bug hunting.

Anyone else getting ads on Yahoo with adguard? A video that is.

Also, videos don't load on TMZ my wife's favorite website. Would be nice to get that working.

Is there a content blocker that works for in-app browsers? For example if you use the Twitter app and open a MacRumors link, the Google ads are still there.

Yes I use AdBlock but right now you must install the free app called Admosphere with it for it to work. Go on there Twitter page to find out more why. For AdBlock that is.

Here are the links to the apps:

https://twitter.com/adblockios/status/713828532829495296 for the reason why you need this second app for it to work. Make sure to enable the ad list.

Hi and sorry for the delay! There were some issues with German and EasyList Germany filters recently, we've fixed it a few of days ago.

The problem was in filter rules using negative lookahead which is not supported by Safari.

It appears this issue is caused by social media filter, once I switch it off back gesture works fine.

Are you sure? We've done some research on our side and this issue seems to be caused by blocking google ad script.

Does it help to add this rule to your user filter?

Unfortunately the error still occurs after you fixed it.

Or is a reinstall of the app needed?

It should be enough to check filter updates.

However, in your case it may be 45k limit issue, not just a filters issue.
[doublepost=1463325478][/doublepost]So, try turning some filter off one of filters (i advise to turn malware domains off, anyway it is not very useful).

You are right, I disabled the two German filters and when I enabled them again I ran into the filter limit issue.

I switched one or two off and now the German filters work again, also the update error is gone now.

Hi guys, I am wondering if Purify (this seems to be the best option out there) blocks ads on apps like Flipboard's "browser".

Thanks in advance!

Adguard is updated with new assistant tool for blocking any elements on the Safari page. This is a long awaited feature... going to try it how it works in practice.

@avatar-adg

Just updated to the latest version and have a question. Did you guys change the way the social media filter worked? I used to be able to enable that option and still be able to read the comment/message section while the social media widgets were removed. ie Huffingtonpost, MSN, Yahoo, NFL

After the new adguard update the filter update error is back :(

I doubt update has anything to do with it. You were still on the edge of 45k limit. Could you please try turning off malware domains list?

@avatar-adg Many developers are active for a month and then we never hear from them again. Thanks for not bugging out on us.

No problem, in fact it is me who should thank you for useful feedback.

No change there, this is just a mistake. We'll fix it soon.

Here is a blog post about this new version:
https://blog.adguard.com/en/ios-app/adguard-for-ios-version-1-0-6.html

Two major changes:
1. Manual element blocking (watch tutorial video).
2. Adguard for iOS has gone open source.
