So since a new version of Adguard is out, does this mean the experimental filter will be coming out of beta too?

Thank you for reminding me, we must do it before the browser extension release (as list of available filters is embedded into the extension).

Weird may give it another go then.

Could it be that you turned on "filters optimization" in AG advanced settings?

Uninstalled and reinstalled with stock settings and the blank space is still not removed from www.apkmirror.com

Are you sure? We've done some research on our side and this issue seems to be caused by blocking google ad script.

Does it help to add this rule to your user filter?

Not 100 % sure, but when i tried several times it worked.
I think your method works too, will test more.

Meanwhile, at least some CNN videos don't play unless i turn Adguard off. For example these ones here

http://edition.cnn.com/2016/05/20/middleeast/egyptair-flight-804-main/#

http://edition.cnn.com/2016/05/19/politics/hillary-clinton-bernie-sanders-vice-president/index.html#

That button is unclickable.

As always, I have english, russian, spyware, social media, mobile ads and Safari filters enabled.

By the way, i recently started using Adguard for El Capitan Safari on my Macbook air and i have same issue with CNN video there too.

I just started using Adguard, and I'm still seeing ads with the default filters plus EasyList on Forbes.

Re-check your Adguard settings. Believe it or not, I set mine up and, a day or two later, I went back and found that the settings had changed.

My bad, placeholders are really there due to the way we do conversion:
https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardFilters/issues/2212

We'll check if this site's anti-adblock script can be avoided without leaving empty placeholders and fix this in English filter We are also backporting everything we do to EasyList, but it depends on the easylist authors.

Better stick to Adguard's English filter. It is based on EasyList, but we support it for all devices, not just desktop Chrome/FF.

So what's the status of the experimental filter? Will it be renamed to something else and will that require a new version for iOS?

Do new filters require app updates, or can they just be dynamically added to the filer list in the app?

Filters in Adguard are updated within the app and even automatically when the app is launched or is kept open in the background, though I personally prefer launching the app once or twice to get updates instead of leaving it open.

I know the existing filters are updated automatically but I'm not sure they can add additional filters to the app without updating the app itself.

Hell
Tutorial videos mostly. We had a little struggle inside the team about these videos size and I lost :)

So, more complaints on the videos size, bigger chance that others listen to me and change the resolution.

Yep, it is available, finally.

Do you know when the "PRO" version will be released? Will it block ads as well in the apps? I am so excited!!
