iOS 9 GM Available Now

just installed ios 9 GM. not a good first impression, i know phone is indexing, but it feels choppier and it froze on the setup screen, ugh. (iphone 6)

Upgrading to the GM has always been possible as non-developers. I'm not going to say how it's done though.

A) Apple cited performance improvements for older devices as one of features of iOS 9. There was no GUI jerkiness before 9.
B) prove a point of ridiculous claims people around here have - "it's a beta!" And "GM disables debugging stuff and everything will be much faster"
 
Lost 4% battery in first 2mins on gm hopefully that's todo with indexing. I Darby turn battery save off just yet will leave it couple days Not impressed though.

The setup screen was seriously weird. A light-grey screen with "swipe to upgrade" barely readable. I thought my phone was bricked at first because I got some error message in iTunes at the same time.

They do it every time lately. Promise better performance, smoother experience etc Everyone rejoices, drags you through betas and no improvement and when the final GM comes out.... same old garbage.

7 through to 9, same old rubbish. I think it was 7.12 was the last time it was perfect.

Running 8.4.1 and very reluctant to switch up to the 9 GM.

Still can't turn on cellular data again for apps that had cellular data usage disabled. Reported that bug against beta 5 :(

I'm getting exactly the same. iPhone 5S, was on PB, uninstalled profile, installed GM via Shift Update now getting iOS PB 3 as an OTA update and I'm on 13A341?!?! WTF?

Is that the torrent? I'm getting 4MB/s and should be done in couple of minutes.
 
Now that the GMmis downloaded I am having second thoughts about updating, as I can't get back to 8.3 if things go wonky.
