8.4 is still superior performance wise. I'd hang on
You'll survive, but I'll be surviving fasterI found beta 5 excellent, I think I'll survive with the GM
Is it really about the same speed as beta 5? Still lag opening apps? iPhone 6You'll survive, but I'll be surviving faster
If you're downloading iPhone 6+ then yeah the speed is pretty much 0.0k That is what he is talking about.
You're downloading the iPad mini 2 version, hardly the most applicable at this point. The majority are trying on their phone, try that and come back to us

I downloaded it and couldnt install it because it requires the latest iTunes update, FML! Im still running OSX 10.6.8 due to vst plug ins and it wont let me update to the new itunes! This sucks! i had to put my phone in DFU mode and go back to 8.4.1. Any work arounds? Thanks!
You could always borrow someone's laptop or visit an Apple store to update to the latest iOS.
But there's a chance it won't sync with an older version of iTunes
I just performed a clean install on my 6Plus.
GM feels just like Beta 5 - same 0.5-1 second delay opening apps or pressing the home button. Same weird clunkiness with spotlight, same heavy feeling when typing, etc.
Clearly, planned obsolescence.
Why does mine show Version Number 13A341? On the screenshots here all you have is ...40?!... I used to have the PB but downloaded the GM from the Dev Center and installed it... Also: Now when I go to software update it shows me iOS 9 PB 3 is ready to download... WTF?!?
Thanks for not sugar coating the truth, I guess I'll hold off now.I just performed a clean install on my 6Plus.
