Maybe not planned obsolesce. But the OS is VERY badly optimized. They really just wanted to push it out in time for the new iPhone.
Good idea, think I'll do the same.
Operating under the logic that 9.1 will be better performance wise because it's probably newer than the GM version.
Actual usage is far from that.. they don't know what they're talking about.
I'll let you be the guinea pig, but I was thinking along the same lines myself. The GM is likely a few weeks old at this point. Do report back!
Smooth on my 6. No 'clearly' planned obsolescence here.
Doing the same since the GM is so slow at the moment. Should have it in about 8 minutes it says.
This version was probably built 3 weeks ago, before the mass production of iPhone 6s. It's perfectly normal it's similar to BETA 5. We have to wait for 9.0.1 for a bump.
You're downloading the iPad mini 2 version, hardly the most applicable at this point. The majority are trying on their phone, try that and come back to us

That slight delay between tapping an icon and the app opening is so annoying.
