I ended up restoring back to 9.02 and then re-jailbreaking with Pangu 1.2. Before I was having way too many springboard crashes and it would've taken a long time to figure out what update(of the many that I did during the weekend) was the issue.

Right now back to installing one tweak and update at a time to keep this stable jb.
You could have just uninstalled Cydia Substrate and then reinstalled one by one from their (taking a screen shot of the removed tweaks). Thats what I do when I have issues and you don't have to worry about loosing a JB or the OS not being signed anymore.

I'll keep that in mind for next time, thanks!

You'll loose your tweaks, but all your settings for those tweaks will remain. Just screenshot your installed packages and reinstall when you update and JB
Sorry for all the questions but when I hold shift and select update it doesnt allow to select the custom firmware, it says itll update to 9.1?

Thats good. Let me know if you have any questions. Check out my guide also. Its the top stickied post in this subforum
Its giving me hell ran this thing a few times toggling the airplane mode as it told me. I am stuck on the loadscreen now that just says Keep your device connected do not close the app. Its been hanging here for about 5 minutes not sure what to do, it appears stuck?

Edit: launched the app and it gave me a red error code. Ugh. Can I just restore to 9.0.2? I feel like starting new as I backed everything up and now have the Pangu app icon on my phone, but when selecting it it just closes upon launch.

Wait what do you mean? In pangu? What percentage is it at? Did you turn off FindmyiPhone and passcode?

Yes followed all the onscreen prompts from the Pangu app. Its at 30% configuring the environment well see if it goes through.

Nope looks stuck.

Try restarting both the computer and device. You enabled photos access to the pangu app on your phone right?
Yes. I get an error code preparing the environment. I tell you this is the most trouble I've ever had jailbreaking, maybe this mac release isnt so stable. I have the pangu app on my phone but it just closes when I open it...no cydia to be found. Could I just restore > option > and start from scratch using the 9.0.2 fw? I dont mind doing that kind of wanted to start fresh anyway. I dont wont want to mess up being able to JB though just want to make sure.

Ok. After reboots, launch Pangu on your PC by right clicking and running as administrator. Then, connect your device to your computer. Unlock the phone and then enable airplane mode. Then start the jailbreak process. When it asks you to open the Pangu app on your phone, first open photos and then pangu. Once you open pangu, it should redirect you to something else. DONT PRESS BACK TO PANGU. I did that over and over on accident and I couldn't figure out why my jailbreak kept failing

Yes you can just restore. You'll loose your data. I would try on a friends windows though since that is much more stable

Sounds like you're just having Pangu bugs with the Mac version. That is really frustrating I can tell. Pangu should really test more on Mac
Yes very frustrating man since its usually so painless. I guess I'll try the restore option go to 9.0.2 and give it another try.
