With OS X the builds were slightly different, iOS ones were the exact same build number.

Just be warned everyone - El Capitan is working fine (at least for me !) but iOS 9 Beta 3 is making my iPhone really hot and the battery life is terrible..

So you may want to think before you download ios9 on an iPhone you rely on..

Whenever you install a new update you need to give it time for the battery to settle down. (Usually a couple cycles because it's indexing and all sorts of things after a new update.) plus 8.4 already makes my iPhone 6 hot more often than previous 8.x updates.

How do we know 30 minutes as opposed to any time now or like later in the day?

Also if it's like the 8.3Beta is it possible to download directly to the device or do I need to be hooked up to the computer?

iOS PB is done strictly through OTA software update in settings once you have the profile.

An article said it would be out within an hour
