Well, guess it will likely be tomorrow then!

Could be!

Even the front page article a bit earlier says that the Apple document change that added in mention of public beta that it suggests it will be based off the DP3 build. So to me that has me thinking tomorrow as well and not next week or two weeks. (Because once PB comes out it follows the same release days of DP for following builds.)

And from my experience, if it makes front page and it's what Macrumors thinks, it's usually pretty solid.

Yeah, it all fits together nicely. Last year the PB was initially launched on a Thursday; the support article specifically says it is for the PBs; and the feature it is talking about was just released in DP 3. I dont know why it would say that on the article if it were to be released in 2 weeks or whenever DP 4 comes out. Makes sense that it would come along with DP 3. And like people speculated last year, they could be waiting for people using the DP to find any big bugs that need to be quickly fixed for the PB.

Looks like it. Not keeping my hopes up though, because I don't want to be disappointed AGAIN.
I know what you mean! At least I am getting an old 2006 iMac from a family member tonight and I am going to put Yosemite on it; so a fun little project while I wait!

Sounds fun. As for me, I'll just play geometry dash for that time.
But...I'll still have to go to the 4th page of my games folder to go to it, because it doesn't have the 4x4 arrangement yet. #FWP

I really hope that they do release the Public Beta tomorrow. If they do, we should be looking around 1400 Pacific/1700 Eastern? My iPad and extra iPhone are ready (and hopefully my El Capitan partition on my MacBook Pro will be put to use as well)!

Hard to say what time. Could be the usual 10am pacific or could be 2pm pacific. My email I received back when iOS 8.3 public beta launched was at 1:59 pacific. But I really can't remember if I had already installed it before the email (and it was just sent after they pushed it in the morning) or of the email was right around time of launch. I just know it was that day. (Thursday March 12)

Will they be sending out an email to install? I can't remember what was the process like.

Public Beta for iOS is always OTA. The email you get sends you to a page to install the beta profile that allows your device to see beta updates in Settings > General > Software Update.

The profile appears at the bottom of the General page in Settings.

i installed it without any problem. keeping the profile installed. try installing the profile again!

I don't know how long it took to fix, but in the early hours of 8.4 final release the profile was preventing the update from getting past "preparing update" or something similar to that. Removing the profile allowed it to move right along on the next attempt. But yes the profile should be put back on asap.

Many others had the same issue. I wen't back to read a bit of the old iOS 8.4 release thread. It was actually an issue of going from 8.4 public beta to final release that cause it to get stuck at "update requested" and removing the profile instantly fixed it.

Actually because of a support file about two step authentication that got updated with OS X and iOS DP3 today mentioning El Capitan and iOS 9 Public Betas suggests that we will see it very soon and before DP4. (Otherwise the mention of public beta in the support document wouldn't have been added until DP4.) It was posted on the front page of Macrumors earlier today.
