You can add Jeep to the list.

My 2014 Wrangler JK originally paired and worked perfectly with my iPhone 5s on iOS 7.

With my new iPhone 6 on iOS 8 it is able to pair no problem, but often drops calls. Also, the Bluetooth audio streaming frequently has brief audio drop-outs. That happens during streaming music/audiobooks from the Music app, as well as podcasts from both Podcasts and Overcast apps.

I've tried re-pairing the iPhone 5s, which is still on iOS 7, and that still works seamlessly with the Jeep.

Grrrrrr.

After I posted my earlier fix in restoring 8.0, I realized that I hadn't tested my connection since I updated to 8.0.2. Bluetooth works, but my phone disconnects. GRRRRRRRR:mad:

Add VW to the list.

Just an update, I updated my iPhone 6 to iOS 8.1 beta 1 and all seems to be working now in my Hyundai Sonata. I can accept and make calls, and music streaming is working properly (but that was always working). So hopefully everything will be sorted out by the time 8.1 gets released to the public. I've seen a few posts where 8.1 helped some people, and it didn't help others. Perhaps there's a few more things they need to sort out in 8.1 before the final version is released.

Haven't seen any problems with my 2012 Jeep Wrangler. Will conduct some experiments. Running iOS 8.1 beta 1

Having the same issue OP explained with bluetooth in my 2010 Mazda3 with a iPhone 6. Worked perfectly as OP described in previous versions of iOS on my iPhone 5 on 8.0.2. Not working as expected now. Hopefully iOS 8.1 comes out soon.

2015 Lexus RX 350

Bluetooth is really messed up. Can get player to work, but phone is a no go. Spent entire day trying everything possible to get it to work. Live in MD, so have to have Bluetooth to function. Going to re activate my IPhone 5S and use it until Apple gets its act together.

It's ios 8 that kills it not the phone (6/6+). Updated my 5s to 8.0 and their Bluetooth is killed for my car too

My 2014 Dacia Sandero Stepway also isn't happy with my iPhone 6+.

Says incoming call but when answering I have to select "Speaker" on the phone to hear anything.

I admit I don't use this feature- not because I don't want to, my car is just older and doesn't have Bluetooth integrated. I've been reading through all the posts. I have an idea if some one is willing to try. It seems like most of you have had previous phones that have worked. My friend was having this issue, but he is out of town and I can't experiemnt. I wonder if this might help:
If you still have the old phone, sign out of Messages, Facetime and iCloud.
Give the phone you are using a different name.
Reset network settings
Toggle airplane on
Remove phone from car
Turn off Settings>Facetime> iPhone Cellular Calls on all devices using iOS 8
Toggle Airplane off
Pair phone to car
Test
I'm curious if the IPhone Cellular calls within Handoff and Continuity is messing it all up.
If this doesn't work, I appreciate your time trying it out.

2008 Mercedes SL550

Add a 2008 Mercedes SL550 to the list. Sees my phone, says it pairs but the "Downloading..." message never goes away, call lists don't load and calls won't connect, giving a "Service Unavailable" message even though the signal strength of the phone is shown in the display.

Me too

2014 MG 350 / (SAIC) Roewe 350

For the past week or so I've been having crazy trouble too.
- I can connect bluetooth and use the A2DP function to listen to music from my phone, but calls don't go through.
- When the phone initially connects, the car goes into dialing mode till you shut it.
- Incoming calls ring once on the car then get disconnected
- I can make calls from the car dashboard and they work, but making calls from the car is a pain in the a** (Chinese UI engineering at it's best)

I was blaming my crappy MG badged chinese car (Sold here as MG 350, it's SAIC made Roewe_350) But I guess it's my fancy iPhone 5s.

Apple, I truly love you, but you need to get your ****** together with these botched software updates

Saw another jeep had some problems, but I was able to pair on my 2014 wrangler unlimited without error. 8.0.2, 6+. Deleted the old phone pairing, added new. I haven't seen any other BT problems with my phone, my fitness bands have paired as well. Verizon, with lte voice data off. Anything having to do with handoff is off.

I do have lots of other stuff turned off, no cell data, no iCloud drive. But I did turn on cell data and used the phone in the car along with attaching to personal hot spot and it was ok.

What's an erase memory?

----------

Many who have updated to the iOS 8.1 beta have reported it fixes the issue.

I needed to erase or "factory default" in order to make it works ok.

Depends on the model it can be using at same time buttons green and red or in my case using factory default option in menu.

Are you sure you're not using an Android? None of this makes any sense in reference to an iOS device.

This solution is not logical but it worked for me:
2010 Ford Galaxy - iPhone 6 8.0.2

1. Unpare your iPhone and car
2. Turn off iCloud
3. Reboot the phone
4. Turn on iCloud
5. Connect iPhone and car
6. DON'T REBOOT until a fix

Wish this worked for me. Unfortunately the only solutions that work for a select few are not logical, so no shame in trying, hehe.

Apple's fail in releasing a iOS update without testing bluetooth is highly illogical, says Spock.

Doesn't work for me either

Add 2014 Kia Sorento to the list.
I have an IP6+ and have reset all settings on the phone and the car and repaired.
I can get music to play through BT but calls don't go through and they hang up after a few seconds.

To share with you guys,

My issue is when i connect my iPhone 6 to my range rover specially after the latest update iOS 8.0.2 i wouldn't be able to play music since it makes a call to 955 which is a random number and it won't disconnect the call. tried deleting my phone from the system and forgetting the car from the bluetooth settings which did make a difference. I even tried to restart my phone still no good.

my wife's iPhone 6 which is still on iOS 8.0.0 pairs and works fine.
