That's awesome, congrats!

AT&T is usually very liberal with their shipping time frames, so here is to hoping it'll ship sooner for both of us.
Thanks! Yes, I hope the wind fills their sails ;) When you say liberal, do you mean they often extend their actual ship dates beyond the, for instance, my quoted 8 day shipping window? Oh well, my 2018 iPP will tough it out with me:)

I wonder when the stores will have them. Even just to see and examine if they don’t have stock.

Yes I do! It seems that ever since the iPhone 6 Plus fiasco with AT&T (they had people back ordered for like 3 months it was wild) they have always given longer ship times then everywhere else it seems, but seem to deliver earlier in some circumstances.

I usually have it rerouted to a UPS CC. Pick it up just as they open. Now some UPS Stores can cause a delay depending on when they deliver to them for the day. Seems to be hit and miss.

I usually do this for all big purchases. It used to be free, now there is a surcharge. In addition, my UPS customer center is no longer an option for pickup, probably due to COVID. The only options were UPS stores, Staples etc.

I have a UPS store within easy walking distance. However, I'll probably just have it delivered to my home, as it's very doubtful the package will be there when it opens.

So mine is finally on the way, but I can't see detailed UPS tracking on their website which is annoying. Have to use the UPS app. Mine departed from EPZ, CN at 12:40PM as well. 5/21 delivery date.

Their tracking details popup is pretty buggy. The only details available are the shipping service, no tracking info. Besides the app, you can get tracking detail using Safari on the iPad - refresh page, click on details and close the popup. Rotate iPad to landscape and try again. You should get tracking details.

I'm in Montreal, QC Canada ordered 12.9 SG 256gb wifi only/no engraving.
My delivery date is 3-9 June. I guess i'll only see preparing for shipment late next week or the week after. I was hopeful that they would be able to move up my delivery dates but i guess not :(.

Hang in there. Sometimes it happens. I'm rooting for you.

It is likely there is no tracking info because the items have not really gone anywhere yet. If I recall, the boxed and addressed items (in the case iPad Pros) are scanned out of the production site. The next stop is PRC Export Controls nearby. Scan in and later scan out. Eventually the palletized products arrive at Shanghai Airport for the cargo flight. When UPS tracking advises that your purchase has departed Shanghai it is really on its' way to Anchorage, Louisville and you.

But the details are there, you just can't see them due to buggy web software. The shipments have already "departed from facility", which means they are have been boxed, labeled and currently in UPS' hands.

I‘m in almost the same boat as you, with my range being June 4-10, which hasn’t changed all along. I live in Halifax, so that’s probably why I’m one day later than you. My order was placed 39 minutes after the preorder site opened.

Although the late dates are discouraging, I guess the most we can do is cheer each other along, and like you, I hope our dates get moved up.

When I placed my order on April 30, my confirmation email actually said “ships in 3-4 weeks”, which would put the earliest shipping day as next Friday, the 21st, and the latest shipping date, the 28th. I’m wondering whether they’ve backed off those dates, since the June 4-10 window would suggest a later shipping date, if it takes a week or so to get here from China. The order page no longer gives a shipping date, only an estimated delivery date.

No
Even though we want better tracking, it is amazing that a single iPad on the other side of the world can be followed all the way from production site to our doorstep.

Next we will want tracking on individual components as they move to production facility.

Same location and model as you ;)

I placed the order like 5 min after launch but only got May 26-31. Hope the dates can move up!
