Just sees so strange I think when I ordered mine and I got the email confirmation it said 24 to 28, but when I checked my order status page it said May 21 to 28 - since I just search for a previous post of mine of I attached a picture of my order status

I feel like his order got shipped from China because he got the engraving. Yes, I also guess that most Canadian orders would come from a warehouse in Ontario early next week. That's why the first batch was quoted for May 21 for Toronto, May 25 for outer Toronto and May 26 for further areas (for example Montreal where I live). Apparently, they skipped the May 24 as it's a national holiday.
True that, got it engraved and it’s still in China waiting for a departure flight (?).

I’m thinking you guys will get yours sooner than the dates shown on the Apple Store app. It’s rarely been accurate for me ?

Apple site is having issues. My order is no longer appearing on App Store app, although I can still follow the link provided in the shipment email and see the order, but the status is now back to “processing”. Like earlier post, I’m able to track the package via ups site, bypassing apple.

I hope Apple dose not change the release date of the iPad Pro- I have a feeling it could happen if iOS 14.6 is not ready

I don't recall Apple shipments from China coming from Zhengzhou. They've usually been from Shenzhen (China's Silicon Valley). Both cities are megalopolises, but Shenzhen is more active.

Cargo planes don't always run on a schedule. Making the assumption that the next stop would be Anchorage, there are usually several cargo flights from Zhengzhou. The next one is typically Sunday, CST.

Of course, UPS could just fly their own airplane into Zhengzhou, but there is no indication they have ever gone there.
I have been off-line for a while. Too much suspense. Since there was some time to kill before the 21 May earliest delivery date, the iPad Pro shipments were probably routed from the factory to Zhengzhou to Seoul to Anchorage. Several daily UPS air freighters from Inchon (Seoul) to Anchorage. Zhengzhou to Seoul has only five days per week UPS flights. That area is another Enterprise Zone. The next outbound is probably Monday. I did not see any UPS flights on this route scheduled for Sat/Sun. Let's see what happens Monday. They are 15 hours ahead of us so I will check late tomorrow for any further movement.

Mine seems to have gone backwards as well, and is saying “we’ve received your payment information and are preparing your order”. Before, it said “we have everything we need to complete your order and are preparing your order.” Btw, this is only viewable through the email link, and not on the Apple Store App.

My expected delivery window hasn’t slipped yet, still showing June 4-10, but I wonder if all this means that order times will be slipping. One member has already reported a later delivery date, although someone else mentioned a one day earlier date. The whole thing is puzzling.

I guess the best thing to do is wait a few hours, and see whether the Apple Store issues get ironed out.

Kind of funny! The puzzling part started weeks ago when the Apple Store never went down in preparation for preorders like it usually does haha.

I’d go with what UPS dates say, c’mon 21st babyyyy!! ????

I don’t think orders have changed. Mine also looks that way viewing on the store website. I actually have 2 orders in queue: the iPad and the Logitech combo touch. If I try to view the list of orders on the store web page or the app, I get “your complete order list can’t be shown right now; check back in a few hours” or something like thst. those of us with later delivery dates could hope this portends forward motion, but I doubt it means anything other than the store has a glitch,

as far as the store never closing, that may have been the case in the past but I don’t think it has to be from a programmatic point of view so I’m not sure how significant that was. True, if it is a new system, it may have had bugs that led to all of the launch day order problems, but I don’t think it had to be that way just because the store didn’t go down.

Oh, one more thing to panic about: it looks like whatever happened to your order after the initial order is no longer showing. I had gotten the price of the loaded model from 2399 down to 2200 by calling in and claiming my higher Ed discount, since I was unable to get the order to stick in the ed store but finally managed to do so in the regular store. The price now shown in my order is the original sticker price with no discount…

OK, so my order for an iPad Pro 12.9 SG 512GB went from shipped "on the way" delivered May 21st to order placed estimated delivery May 21 - 28. It was ordered almost immediately after live time. I would be really upset about this, but have seen this kind of weird behavior before with Apple. One minute it's in China, another it's in Japan, back to China, then all of a sudden it pops up in Alaska. Had this crazy behavior with my M1 MacBook Pro. Was the iPad ever processed and shipped....who knows. When it comes it comes.
I had that happen on my iPhone 12 order.
All The dates were based on normal logistics. One pallet in the entire shipment was pulled at customs to have a more in-depth inspection. Several iPhone’s on that pallet were opened and inspected by customs. Lucky me. When it was delivered a week and a half after it was originally promised it had inspection Tape on the outside of the box and on the inside of the box. The phone was fine. And the Apple website had the dates stalled. The UPS website however showed the dance of the pallets to and from different inspection points. With the dates being updated accordingly. I’m not saying that’s what happened to you or our iPad orders I am saying that with Apple all things are possible.
