This also happened to me. My original date is June 24 - July 9 and they updated to June 23 - July 8. Small difference.

I will bet money on this being an 11” one. That will confirm that the 11 ones are stored on warehouses around the world, and the 12,9 are the ones with production constrains shipping from China.
edit: he said it’s a 12,9. If a ramdom furniture store have stock pilling up a week early it shouldn’t be a problem to buy one at an apple store next week...

You can get it delivered by UPS on Wednesday, so hopefully we'll get them early. If they'll just leave ZhengZhou that is.

This is the 12.9“ and I’ve asked him about the screen. He says it’s like an OLED panel that’s been calibrated by Apple. Using non HDR content he says the screen is brighter and the blacks are deeper.

I’ve seen this video at Costco on their LG OLED TV’s. Totes sketchy with no real way of telling if this is this year’s 12.9” iPad Pro. Either way, he’s getting attention for it ? hope he was one of the lucky ones to get it early.

This person is a troll, the more attention we give it, the more we encourage the behavior. If this was real, the recipient would be more than happy to provide ample photos/videos of the device. Also, any one questioning the authenticity, would receive concrete proof.
So NFB has the new iPad in stock prior to Apple? I just searched NFB site, they seem to have accessories for the iPad, but not the actual devices. Actually I am wrong, they do offer the devices. They show it from preorder with 5/31 delivery. The also note that it is not on display (which would indicate they don‘t have them).
