I didn't realize how often I used my old iPad pro until it got stolen a month ago. It's driving me crazy not to have one. I probably wouldn't have ordered a new one if I still had it. No reason not to now though. I got an 11" pro WiFi 1TB. Come on Apple... I NEED IT
Exact same happen to me, my pro got stolen a couple weeks ago. Had no plans on getting the new one, but now I need it. I didnt realize how much I used it at all

Hopefully insurance covered some of the cost of yours as well.

So I have no idea what the release day schedule was estimated to be. Are the shipments in line with what Apple estimated or are they arriving earlier or later?

I‘m thinking that the initial batch for those who snagged the earliest dates shipped last week, for an arrival date of May 21, for most in the USA. It seems that most in Canada and Europe will be getting theirs slightly later, but I could be wrong. It just seems to me that not many Canadians in the first group who have posted in this thread have actually received a “ship notification”, only a “preparing to ship“ update. That may have changed by now.

With any luck, those orders from the second window will ship late next week, and those in the third window the week after. I’m in the third window and live in Canada.

The 21st seems to be the most commonly quoted “earliest date”, but who knows, some may get them early, depending on the whims of UPS.

As far as I can tell from what I’ve read in this thread, things are on track.

All seems logical. My guess for those of us with an 11” order is what I said several pages back. They mass produced 11” weeks ago while awaiting 12.9” displays and because of limited airlift right now, shipped them to US and other countries in the past few weeks.

if my theory is correct we should see 11” movement early next week

I'm not so sure if May 25th-28th counts as first group in Canada, but I have seen only one Canadian having their iPad shipped from China so far. I am still stuck at processing.

My logic is that after iPads come to the warehouse somewhere in Ontario, I think we will start to see updates in Order Status website.

However, wait is painful...

Yes, the wait is painful, I agree. It’s even harder knowing that my dates are June 4-10, which seems so far away. I only wish that things would move faster.

I’m not sure how accurate these shipping windows are. My Apple Store app still shows 21-31, online store shows 25th, and UPS shows 21st (I’m in Canada).

I feel once UPS scans your product, you’ll get a more accurate date, which could show sooner than the 25th ????

Yeah I'm 6/2-6/9. First apple product preorder I won't have day 1. Stupid checkout /bag issues.

Yes, I ordered on April 30, just under 40 minutes “late”. The problem that I ran into was that it didn’t want to accept my shipping address at first, and I probably lost about 10-15 minutes on account of that. I probably wouldn’t have made the first delivery group, but still might have procured a delivery in the second group, in late May to early June.

Now, it seems that my order has disappeared from the Apple Store App, and the only way that I can access it is by the link in my original email.

It shows the order, and says that it can’t be changed at this time, and to try again in a few hours. I have no desire to change it anyway. Also, the “cancel” button has disappeared. (I sure don’t want to cancel, lol)

I feel like his order got shipped from China because he got the engraving. Yes, I also guess that most Canadian orders would come from a warehouse in Ontario early next week. That's why the first batch was quoted for May 21 for Toronto, May 25 for outer Toronto and May 26 for further areas (for example Montreal where I live). Apparently, they skipped the May 24 as it's a national holiday.

OK, so my order for an iPad Pro 12.9 SG 512GB went from shipped "on the way" delivered May 21st to order placed estimated delivery May 21 - 28. It was ordered almost immediately after live time. I would be really upset about this, but have seen this kind of weird behavior before with Apple. One minute it's in China, another it's in Japan, back to China, then all of a sudden it pops up in Alaska. Had this crazy behavior with my M1 MacBook Pro. Was the iPad ever processed and shipped....who knows. When it comes it comes.

I know that the arrival in Alaska is perfectly normal, and a good thing. As for the convoluted route, it could be due to the lower than normal number of flights due to COVID-19, so they may be using alternate routes to allow for timely delivery.

Ha, went back to look at my orders with an Apple ID sign in and got an order history can't be shown now.

Just checked my apple store this morning and my order disappeared. ?
It says “your complete order history cannot be displayed right now. Check back in a few hours to see all your orders”. Need to learn to be patient, but darn it, easier said than done.
I last checked yesterday if there was any progress and still at processing. I’m waiting for my 12.9 256gb wifi silver which has a delivery date of may 27 - june 2. I’m in Alberta Canada.
I got the orders of Apple Pencil 2, case, etc delivered, I did not open them yet.

I can still see my order, but only by tapping directly on the order number through the original order email. It doesn’t show in the Apple Store app otherwise.

The Apple Store may be down for maintenance or something, but there’s no specific word from Apple about this.

If you still have the email from apple and click on the order number you still can see the order and I just noticed my says Order Placed and not processing and my delivery date has slipped it was expose to be 21 to 28 and now it says 24 to 28

Or something is messed up with Apple Order Status page and they are trying to fix it
