My guess is that some noob store clerk accidentally put those on shelf knowing nothing about the embargo. The consequence would be a huge fine from Apple ?

Ah, I was clicking the “in stock” option. without that I see it, but it says pre-order and out of stock.
I’m not wanting any of them! I have one already ordered through Apple. I was only looking because of the chatter saying the store in Omaha (where I live) had them in stock.
Here's all the more proof I can give. Scheduled to ship out on Monday unless Apple's secret police intercept it before then.

My order status cannot be displayed as well. The Apple store status usually goes down on sundays. It's odd to see it go down on a saturday. It better mean mine is ready to ship!
I have a bad feeling about this. It may be maintenance but it’s not scheduled maintenance on a busy shopping day. I wrote to the admin on MacRumors to ask them to investigate for us.
