I’m still a little surprised they’ve been sitting in China this long. I’ve seen Korea and Alaska as next hops before Louisville on other releases. Also once, I’ve seen it to track directly to Louisville from China, either missed a scan on a stop or charter cargo. As long as they get to KY by Wednesday, we should be good for delivery on Friday. Monday/Tuesday would be nice to have a buffer in the event of any import snafus.

Most of the time they’re not sitting in China for this long it’s just UPS hasn’t updated the scans this is happened all the time with my iPhone I think it’s sitting in China and the next thing I know like a day later it’s already in Alaska or sometimes even in Kentucky so usually it’s just the scans haven’t caught up with where the package actually is that’s been my experience based on find my iPhone every year
 
I wonder if they're consolidating a big shipment before sending it over. Since there is plenty of time for stuff to get here.

That was another possibility too. There were reports of some iMacs already hitting the US. Those might be treated as separate shipments though. Speculating is fun!
 
I think like last time I pre-order something from apple it shipped on Sunday night and I can't wait to see where my 11 inch M1 iPad pro is coming from

I just wonder when the reviewers are going to get there review units..... I think it would be neat to be a review and try out things and it would be nice if you could keep it after the review period, but I know that is not case most part I think review units have to be returned

Good news, and when is your expected delivery date? I was wondering whether you’re in the “first group of May 21-27”, of whether Apple is progressing to the later orders?

No change in mine, but I’m in the third week as far as I can tell.

I have an odd date. It's scheduled to be delivered on May 25th - May 28th. Not sure if I am in the first group.

OK, you’re probably still in the first group of orders, but possibly just outside of Toronto.

I was hoping that they would be starting to work on the May 28-June 3 orders (second week), but I guess they haven’t gotten that far yet.
 
I’m one of the late ones to the party - delivery date between Jun 23-July 8 and I just got an email saying my delivery date has moved when it actually didnt? So weird
 
I ordered right away on the 30th. 11" wifi space gray, with delivery May 21-27. Nothing charged yet. Hoping to get it on the 21st because I leave for a trip on the 22nd...

That‘s strange that they would send you a “false hope” email. My delivery date hasn’t changed since the beginning, and I haven’t gotten any further emails since my original email confirming my order.
 
My CC also was just charged. Not sure why it doesn’t seem to have used any of my Apple account balance before charging the remainder to the CC, but I’ll have to figure that out before the iPhones come out.

Wow! I got mine 15 mins after it went live (12.9,SG,2TB,cellular) and I have a June 16 delivery date… which seems an awfully long wait to me. When did you made your purchase?
