If you are in the U.S. and in the initial launch date, this is the case the overwhelming majority of the time. Louisville is the main UPS hub. About 100 flights in a day and 100 flights out. They have places on site where they store special items until allowed to release. All of our iPads they flew in early this morning are sitting on pallets with security covering and security wire. They are not usually unboxed to single packages until the day before they need to be delivered. The exception would be if they did not have labels or where bought through a wireless carrier directly. Those pallets go to wireless carriers warehouse for breakdown and labeling a few days ahead but are the packed back up and sent to UPS Louisville or FedEx Memphis depending on how they ship.So from Kentucky they go to our home city hubs?
You’re not getting it early bud. Sorry.Kentucky as well! We must be the first group to receive them (other than reviewers).
The anticipation of potentially getting these early is too much.
as far as I know not really.. I heard a couple of people in the UK did.. but as for the rest of the EU no.. we do have our own topic here: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/eu-m1-ipad-pro-pre-order-tracker.2296116/Has anyone from Europe been notified that their Ipad has been shipped? I preordered my iPad 4/30.
SameSame, been sitting at “arrived” in ZhengZhou since 5/14 without any updates. Still scheduled for 5/21 delivery.
I actually faintly remember when I ordered the OG Apple Watch years ago having the same issue then like a day or two before delivery it randomly filled in a bunch of missing/past tracking updates.
Use the UPS appHow come I can’t see detail progress of my shipment? I don’t know where it is at right now except it’s “On The Way”. I’ve tried logged in using my UPS account and the tracking info is the same.

Yes. Annoying. On the website now they only show detailed tracking with a few types of shipping methods. The Express Saver or how Apple sends from China isn’t one of them. Sure UPS wants app usage instead for their data farming benefit. How come I can’t see detail progress of my shipment? I don’t know where it is at right now except it’s “On The Way”. First ten minutes of day 1. FWIW, I accidentally typed "shipped" in my initial post. Hers is still "preparing to ship".When did she order? I’m on the west coast and ordered within minutes, still stuck on preparing to ship (card was charged Monday though).FW
