It often takes longer than that to get something delivered from the same city, impressive! How much did you pay for Fedex?
Mine has just been sent using USPS *preparing for the long wait ahead*
I was very tempted on the Ebay route. I saw a 64GB one for £700, he had 5 of them. As he was close to where I live I offered to meet and pay cash. He didnt seem keen at first but when explained it's probably the safest for everyone. He agreed and seemed quite keen. Said he would call me to give me a time and place. Thats the last I heard. Despite emails etc. He sold all but one by the end of the auction then put another 5 up for auction. That was two weeks ago. Strange he hasn't had any positive feedback yet.
They are high in general, but keep looking as there are some reasonable deals to be had. I fell lucky on one when I got mine.
Can anyone give me some help in setting this thing up for the first time from the UK? I dont want to balls it up straight away 
Fedex bill you after the fact. Can take a week or two. TNT too. UPS usually ask for it before delivery.

There's nothing to set up. Plug it into your Mac. Sync like an iPod. Done. You can fine tune what songs and photos etc come over in the tabs in iTunes. Buy some apps from the app store via iTunes on your Mac and sync again and they'll install. Done.
My iPad has been 'Sent to Store' - what does that mean? Sounds extra scary.

Go to the main forum area, then scroll down, i think its under community discussion or soemething like that
It could mean that they want the charges paid before it will be released. I'm betting they will have sent you a letter to inform you and it is in storage for the time being. (an element of guess work from me)
Dude I am watching your posts like a hawk as we both had our shipped by USPS on the 16th and have had no news. That Mike guy had his shipped by USPS on the 19th and has tracking now so god knows what has happened to our plane

Mine was shipped USPS Express, if that makes a difference? Did you go for Priority? (Express was only $10 more on the iPad boxed).
I am thinking of dropping out of here till nearer the 10th as the only postings now are tracking list comparisons. With a bit of luck all the deliveries will be completed soon. And I mean that in the nicest way.
