Exactly. I'm not 18 any more, and you're right it is hardly life or death. Which is why I can say "I don't need to give Apple half a month's wages for an iPad THAT badly". Instead, I'll spend my money with a company that has actually noticed us floating in the eastern Atlantic.
Anyone else notice the longer form factor of that iPhone pic just now on engadget blog? Or is it a bad pic. I think that's the new iPhone?
I don't think so. I think it's just how different it looks with the UI pushed up for multitasking.
Thats what i thought, but they are carfeul about stuff liek that, im sure itll get previewed soon enough

Yeah, in the later pics the iPhone looks like a more 'normal' shape.
But on a side note -they are REALLY doing good with 4.0 aren't they? They are pretty much including everything that Apple-haters say is wrong about iPhone. Should be interesting to see what they find to complain about next, lol

Theyll still complain about a lack of flash... not that i ever need it on my iPod, but on the iPad, it might be nice

I guess you're not watching the same thing as me. VOIP, audio and GPS all in the background while battery life isn't killed?

To be honest, it is impressive, but im guessing theyll ahve upped the battery life on the iPhone somehow... even with all of this

He never admits any flaws with their products (heaven forbid, lol), so if we translate that statement then you can pretty much say that it means that the battery gets killed big-time.

Can anyone clarify - is all this stuff about notifications, VOIP and security tied in with the Multitasking announcement? Jobs mentioned 7 new features that they're announcing, I can't quite make out at this point if these are all part of the multi-tasking pitch or the other features..
I STILL think that iPhone looks new with the taller form-factor, provided that they aren't distorted pics.
